Re: WTMEDC-Way Too Much Everyday Carry
I almost always have at least 3 knives on me: - Titanium Boker Subcom as my money clip - Manbug or GEC #25 in my coin/watch pocket - Spydie folder (Dragonfly/Delica/Endura/Native 5 LW/Manix) clipped in my right front pocket On weekends I usually add an Esee Izula or Esee 3 in a pocket sheath in my r...

Re: Poll: Favorite FRN/FRCP color
Orange or Green FRCP translucent get my votes. I love my Manix LW in translucent blue FRCP and don't understand why Spyderco hasn't yet released any other FRCP translucent models.

I voted 'Other': Native 5 LW in translucent orange FRCP with DLC S110V blade and deep-carry wire clip.

Re: Suggestions for new Lightweight models?
I'm with you on the plain edges. My only SE Spydies are Salt models and I'm still trying to get used to them. I like them but haven't yet learned to love them.

Re: S90V Fluted Carbon Fiber Native 5 is alive!
Pretty, but I'm not pulling the trigger on another Native until I see one with a with a wire clip. The new Lil Native compression lock looks like it will be the next one for me. Hopefully Spyderco will eventually put a wire clip on a Full size LW Native some day. Translucent FRCP..... wire clip........

Re: Suggestions for new Lightweight models?
Native 5 LW: - orange or lime green translucent frcp handles - black hardware and black deep carry wire clip - back lock (compression lock works for me as well) - black blade (hap40 or cts-xhp or 110 steel) It wouldn't hurt my feelings if they gave the Stretch 2 this treatment as well. I've got it b...

Re: New Models Dropped: Salt 2, Fish Hunter
Salt 2 arrived yesterday. It's definitely beefier/thicker than the Salt 1. Also thicker than my Delica 4. I had to tighten the pivot a bit to eliminate some minor lateral blade play. Now it's a little stiffer to open but not bad. I'll be interested in seeing how it wears in, but in the meantime I mi...

Re: New Models Dropped: Salt 2, Fish Hunter
Yellow SE Salt 2 on the way. Can't wait to compare it with one of my Delica 4s. I wonder if the backlock was updated? My Native 5 LW and Manix Backlock have set a pretty high bar.

Manix 2 Backlock. Simple, solid, and it has the amazing new back lock. Sort of a magnum N5 LW.

Re: Centofante Sprint?
I wouldn't do anything that changes the balance or the thickness of the knife. I like the grind and the blade profile of both the 3 and the 4. I wouldn't mind seeing it in blurple g10 with a copper spyder inset. Maybe cts-xhp steel and a wire clip? Thanks to all the 4 owners who posted photos. I enj...

Re: New Spyderco Manix 2 ...
My first Manix 2 was the black G10 with S30V steel. However I didn't really love the Manix 2 until I picked up a LW Translucent Blue in BD1 steel. For me it is the ideal combination of balance, weight, ergonomics and utility. Even though it is a pretty large folder it seems to just disappear in my p...
