Re: Buy a new BENSHOT® SHOT GLASS WITH LADYBUG™ 3 BLADE when you buy your Mule tomorrow!

No man, I was being sarcastic. It's weird AF that they make a specific blade for a shot glass but do not make the knife that uses that blade. They also stick bullets and all sorts and random things into these glasses, the blade grind has nothing to do with it and there's no reason they couldn't use...

Re: Buy a new BENSHOT® SHOT GLASS WITH LADYBUG™ 3 BLADE when you buy your Mule tomorrow!

Really don't understand why they make LC200N blades but haven't made the knives yet. Makes me wonder if they tried to make the knives but had a major issue with heat treat or something and are trying to make the most out of what was manufactured. 🤷🏼‍♂️ These Benshot glasses are not just happy accid...

Re: If you had to choose only one…

lc200n is fine, but i've found it to be lacking slightly to h1 when it comes to toughness in serrations. Just wondering if you're testing these at the same edge inclusive angle? The H1 Salts I've had were very thick at the edge, especially if you're comparing them to a Caribbean. With the way serra...

I'm holding out for a Benshot glass with a Police 4 blade sticking out! :zany

If vessel size stays proportional to the blade that's gonna be a heck of a shot 🤣

Re: MT39P – CPM 15V Mule Team Dropping Soon!

Got one an hour after they were supposed to drop. Y'all were talking like 'they're gonna sell out in minutes' Probably still better than saying they'll be available all day and you miss out because of it. Also we never really know how many are made unless they specify, maybe this was a larger batch...

Re: MT39P – CPM 15V Mule Team Dropping Soon!

Well I got mine after 45 minutes of trying to get logged in, getting my account deactivated, finally getting it reactivated, figuring out my login info, and found they're still in stock. Unbelievable.

Re: If you had to choose only one…

Lots of good answers but for every situation I'd have to go with MagnaCut. I could get by with any of these steels though, there really aren't any wrong answers unless you're playing in salt water or plan to do heavy prying and batonning. For EDC pocket folder I'd have to take more care of some and ...

Re: Autonomy Spring Replacement Kit Review, takedown and button wear update

Excellent write up David. I guess I should look for a kit to stash away if or when I need it. They've gotten hard to find, have been out of stock for a while now. I can't imagine they're discontinued since both knives are still in production. I plan to grab a few kits when they're available again.

Re: Completely Forgotten Spyderco Models: Your Favorites?

I keep thinking back on the Worker design, specifically about the blade tip and the first models with the sharpened second edge/swedge. I would love to see this concept brought back in a handle forward design like the Leaf Jumper. It's a tricky design to modify myself because the handle needs to com...

Re: Compression lock

If you want them on the smaller side and are adventurous enough to seek out discontinued models, I'd look for a Dialex Junior or Ouroboros. The Sliverax is also a favorite and is still in production and packs a lot of edge length into a very small folded size.

Re: Yojimbo 2 tip strength for EDC

Can you break down a box with a typical utility knife without breaking the blade? If so then this shouldn't be a problem. If you plan on prying or using it as a screwdriver or scraper, probably won't end well. I did chip the tip off one, though I have no idea how or even when it happened, I just not...

Re: Anyone into Audiobooks?

I'm trying to figure out where/how to purchase audiobooks aside from physical copies, but it seems like everyone wants you to use an app these days and I'm not interested in streaming anything, I want a full download. I'm ok with purchasing, not looking for freebies but I absolutely do not want to ...

Re: This is a Reconnaissance Mission

A manix 2 blade in an Autonomy style knife would be awesome but I think the one I ordered will be pretty good, especially since I got it at $190 shipped. Yeah my wish is just for a slightly modified Autonomy 1 blade shape, but it's really just a nitpicking detail. In use I get similar function from...
