Spyderco doesn't do a whole lot with fancy patterns that are not functional. Probably won't either. I do like some subtle patterns, but respect and desire function so much more I look past it. It can be too difficult or overly expensive either, I bought a Kershaw Scamp a long time ago, and it has a...

I really don't think it would be any lighter, the scales are already milled out for the nested liners and weigh almost nothing. They couldn't do linerless like the Manix because the lock requires a liner just like a liner lock. Maybe they could make a lock insert or something that takes the place of...

Happens to me all the time. All the guys my GF works with send their knives home with her to get sharpened because they're shocked at how sharp her Native is. Then a week later they want it sharpened again because the edge is gone. I then give them the run down on why their $15 knife didn't hold tha...

My opinion is the Tenacious. Sure the steel isn't as good, but I like the ergos better. And it's cheaper. So for a "beater" knife, something that I will use and not be bothered if it gets damaged, or a knife to lend to a friend etc, I'll take the Tenacious. Basically this. If the Delica h...

Well, what is adventure? Does adventure have to include adrenaline pumping action, or can adventure be a walk through a stretch of woods you've never been to, discovering an old log cabin or waterfall, camping and making a fire and generally relaxing? To me it depends on how you define adventure. So...

You guys have convinced me to give it another try. So it goes that as impulsively as I sold the first, I have now impulsively ordered a second. Sanity, get thee away from me!! :D Nah, I don't see why you'd have any problem reselling and getting your money back on this one, with it being this hot at...

Don't get me wrong it does take a lot of thumb strength, I'm not saying the knife SHOULD be able to b unlocked with just the thumb, only that I can on this particular model. I also have very strong hands so that helps. I also feel like more of the ball cage stands out from the handle allowing a bett...

I'm probably gonna get the Paramilitary 2, because the Manix's lockup is not as solid. According to who?? my Para 2 20CP sprint has had side play from day 1, while none of my Manix 2s have ever developed any. I haven't really put the LWT Manix to work yet so it may loosen up with use but so far it'...

I was playing with mine a minute ago and found I can unlock it with just my thumb. That's a first for me out of every M2 I've ever handled. I think a lot of it has to do with the extra traction the rest of my hand gets on the FRN.

Yeah took me about 2 days to find one and one of those days was to decide if I wanted it or not. I checked the first website that was reported to have them and got one. It was pretty easy.

They seem to still be pretty much unobtanium right now. I guess time will tell if they actually become available for purchase like a common production knife. I think the average person may not have a good experience with them because of the effort and equipment required for sharpening. Anybody with...

Do you recommend it over a Cts-204p Para 2 if I were only able to get one? Like I said in your other thread, I would, but I also already have another Para sprint. If I were you I'd just buy the Para now while you can and save up for the Manix. They're really very different knives when you get into ...

Only one guys, I don't have a money tree :D . If you NEVER plan to buy the other, I'd go with the Manix. I'm blown away by mine and for $105 it's an amazing value. If you beat your knives the Para is gonna be stronger but I intend to use my Manix for everything but batoning/chopping/prying and I ha...

Just a quick question to those who have been receiving their s110v manix 2's. Approximately what is the edge angle being held at? Is it already thin enough to zip through cardboard or would a slight thinning of the edge greatly benefit it's performance? Thanks, BN My bevels are even on each side bu...

These look great. I hope someone will update us with a HRC result on the S110V. Hoping/guessing it is in the 61~63 range. I think Sal said 63 on his, but that was HIS if you catch my drift. Looking forward to a production run number. Cheers... I have no doubt Sal has some personalized hotrod knives...

Give the Rookie a Harpy handle and you have got a WINNER.

I really don't understand why that handle shape isn't used on the Delica/Endura/Police. I guess it has to do with heritage, but it's sooo much better.

David, which cartridge does that take? If it's the narrow one, I've heard that it runs out of ink pretty quick.
Standard cartridge just as used in the Bullet or Cap-o-matic. I prefer the black fine point so I use #PR4F.
