Have you tried the para 3?
They are both great knives, I own the Manix and it is will take any abuse you can throw at it and the ergos are great at least for me. I love the ball bearing lock but it takes a little bit of getting used to, if you have used the spring strength is a little stronger than an AXIS lock so it takes a ...

Can someone explain this to me?
So as we all know there are a bunch of different finishes a blade can have and they each have their own aesthetic and pros and cons associated with them. One finish that I really like the look of is a bead blast finish, but I know that bead blasting tend to make the blade more prone to corrosion. I ...

Re: Steel inserts on titanium lockfaces, are they necessary?
I have never had a a titanium lock bar with or without a steel insert wear out or fail on me. However, I would say that a steel insert does help reduce lockstick, although some knifes without an insert will have lockstick out of the box but break in with use.

I think you’ll really enjoy the Manix it’s an awesome knife, I wish Spyderco would use the Ball Bearing lock on more of their knives.

Help! I need to be talked out of getting a Sebenza.
The last couple of weeks I have been looking at getting a small Sebenza, I have never owned a Chris Reeve knife. And I need someone to talk me down so I don’t drop 375$+ on one. Because I am really looking forward to the upcoming mantra 3 and I can’t justify getting both.

Re: Chaparral... Liner Lock?
The chaparral is so thin, is it even possible to make a liner lock for it without making the handle thicker to accommodate it?

What Para 3 sprint runs do you want to see made?
Just wondering what kinds of para 3 sprint runs you guys would like in the future.
Personally I think it would be super cool to see the para 3 get a CPM 154/S90V composite blade like Spyderco made for the PM2 and a few other knives recently.

Re: Help picking out a knife for my Father in-law
You can’t go wrong with either the native five G10 or light weight version. It’s not flashy or anything but, it’s a workhors. Also it will stand up to any prying or spine whacking (although I don’t recommend doing that to any folder).
