Smock
Didn’t see a thread for this one yet. I for one am excited! I’ve got a custom SK23 and it’s outstanding. This one seems to combine Kevin’s SK23 and SK45 designs. My custom is more ergonomic than it looks and is actually great in that regard. I love the button on the compression lock. The flipper tab...

Re: Smock Knives SK23
I can’t wait for the “Smock”! Looks like I’m going to have to play some games to carry it unless the production model uses a different clip that can swap for left carry. My SK23 is far more ergonomic than you might think, I’m hoping the Smock is the same. It looks to combine Kevin’s SK23 and SK45 mo...

Re: Mantra problems
My Mantra’s centering was noticeably off but wasn’t causing any issues so I ignored it until I felt the need to take it apart to clean. When reassembled centering is almost perfect. Sometimes you just need to loosen the body screws and pivot a touch, apply some pressure to the scales to force them s...

Lil Manix, mini Manix actually. Dragonfly sized or similar with cbbl. Would be fun to fidget with.

Re: Smock Knives SK23
So I had a small warranty issue that I’ll credit to it being the first lefty he’s made. A bit of lock rock caused by the lock bar. I didn’t want to send the whole knife as I’ve been hearing a lot of issues with getting knives through customs as of late. I talked to Kevin and he said he’d give it a s...

Domino
Why did I wait so long to get one? Well, it seemed small in pics and vids but the combination of seeing a good comparison with a Manix 2 and a Black Friday deal pushed me over the edge. I’m glad I did! Knife is fantastic. It feels good in hand like the Manix but allows more freedom for multiple grip...

I’ve posted a few times that I’d love to see a CruWear Tuff.

Bigger, (or smaller)than expected?
So I picked up a Domino for a good price,(Black Friday). Don’t know why I waited so long? Well I kinda do. Even after reading the specs, it just seemed a bit small in pics and vids. I saw a good YouTube vid that compared it to a Manix2 that was enough combined with the price for me to get one. Well ...

Re: ZDP 189
My caly3.5 in zdp flies open with a Spydie flick and swings free with the lock fully depressed. It’s almost a problem as it’s nicked me a few times. I’m used to having the choil on my other Spydies act as a safety but it doesn’t line up right for me on the caly. I haven’t experienced it but I’ve hea...

Re: Mantra thoughts and comparison pics
I noticed mine was feeling a little sticky from the grime in there a couple weeks ago but didn’t get around to it then. I was reminded about it because I just ordered a Domino! I’m expecting a lot from that one, love the ctsxhp on my Techno, the flipping action is supposed to be great, and despite m...

Re: Mantra thoughts and comparison pics
So I just took it apart to clean her up and relube. I was hesitant at first because of the “issues” with locktite and the dreaded washers. Well there was some sort of thread lock but no red invincible stuff so it came apart easy. It was really quite dirty in there which I have found to be the case w...

Re: Calling all Gayle Bradley users
My GB has had a "flat" detent ball since I got it, (brand new from reputable dealer). It has not changed since I got it and I've used it plenty. I've modded it too with no change in it's action. IMG_0212.JPG IMG_0041.JPG I will say however that the main reason it doesn't get as much pocket...

Re: Companion for Yojimbo 2 or PM2
Personally I like to carry a traditional slipjoint,(usually GEC) along with my modern locking folder,(usually my Cruwear PM2). But a Dragonfly is certainly a great knife. My ZDP189 stays clipped to my backpack, has gotten soaking wet, used on fruit and not cleaned for hours and not a hint of corrosi...

Re: What "Other" is in your pocket???
Been carrying my Brous Bionic XL a lot lately but today my Cruwear PM2 paired with Enigma Classic 01 in US2000 steel, (apparently same as Zwear which from what I can find, is essentially the same as Cruwear).

Re: What collaborations would you like to see?
-I'm on board for a Graham Razel colab. Who knows, now that his crkt stuff is long since done it might be something Spyderco will revisit!? - A Brous colab would certainly be interesting but wouldn't it likely cost more than a typical Spyderco or as much as a Brous anyway? Still probably be worth lo...

Re: School me on Cru-Wear
I typically don't buy more than one of a knife model, but I jumped on a cruwear PM2 even though I have a standard s30v. If funds would have allowed I would have bought 2! My Cruwear manix was my first Spyderco, sold me on the brand and the steel! Anyone on the fence about Cruwear, get it. If for som...
