Wasn't able to score the Shaman Cruwear…..yet, so I found some other nice Cruwear. :D This one is excellent in hand. Daniel does great work.

Remove basket, add 3 oz. favorite tequila, 2oz. lime juice. 1 oz simple syrup. Add crushed ice and run for 30 seconds. Pour into glass rimmed with salt and add a float of Cointreau. Very clean :D

Re: Para3 LW in m390.. First LW exclusive
Received mine a couple days ago. Blade centered perfectly. As usual I Flizted the blade and applied a drop of oil. Action is great out of the box, nice even grinds, and blade is sharp. I love the wire clips. Another keeper. :)

Re: Upland game/Small game knife
What about the Mini-Paring knife, it seems like the design would work well as a bird and trout knife. If you mean the K09, it probably would work pretty well as a bird knife. Not sure the curved blade would work well for skinning? Perhaps a true paring knife might make it to production? The K05 is ...

Re: Upland game/Small game knife
I would agree that Spyderco should have a knife that falls into this niche. When the Sprig first came out I was disappointed that it wasn't truer to Phil's B&T design. Larger, longer, beefier and thicker blade. The Sprig grew on me and is now one of my favorite Spydies. Some time ago I bought th...

1. Caribbean 2. Baby Horn 3. Street Beat Micarta 4. Mantra 1 5. Jester I'm pretty much in a holding pattern, nothing has shaken up my list since the Caribbean came out. I am looking forward to seeing how my Cruwear Shaman fares against the list. You reminded me, how could I not include the Mantra 1...

Caly 3.5
Waterway
Sprig
SE Pacific Salt
Toss-up between 52100 Millie and 204P Para 2
K05 this gets more use than any others, a mainstay in the kitchen. Other than these, whichever is in my hand. :spyder:

Re: Knife floats
Why not just rig a tether to the boat on an S Biner or something similar? Enough that you could use it freely, move it around, but always have it secured either to yourself or the boat. Strings and lanyards on the kayak are dangerous when you are dragging big powerful fish into your lap. Imagine a ...

Re: I love the Sharpmaker
I also love the SM. Was cleaning a bunch'o fish yesterday and I like my knife SHARP. After cleaning a dozen or so 20-25 passes on the brown stones and back to razor sharp. My SM often stays set up on our dining room table. Simple and effective. Not a dull knife in the house. I've gifted one of these...

Re: Para 3 K390 Ranger green from BBS!
This one is a pass for me. Got the Para 2 and the DLT M390 Para 3. Being around water so much the M390 just makes more sense. Probably would have passed on the Para 2 as well, but the K390 hooked me. The wallet has really been hit this month. Have a couple others on the way. Didn't get in on the Sha...

Re: Long Term Maintenance Suggestions?
Often with new knives, especially tool or carbon steel blades and/or knives that will be stored, I Flitz to remove oxidation then apply a coat of Ren wax. The Ren wax can be used on some scales as well (non-porous). I try to check those blades I know are subject to rust/corrosion occasionally and oi...

Re: Super happy with my New Mantra 2
I really like my M2 however I've said before, an XL version in LC with washers would be fantastic. The extra blade mass would really improve the flipping action. This is a GREAT design, the blade profile is a classic (thank you Eric) just needs to be larger. The M2 disappears in the pocket, the Ti ...

Re: lc200n production
I really would love to see the entire Golden made Lightweight serious of knives done in LC Salt versions. They would essentially replace everything I carry, there isn't a knife I own that I wouldn't also want a Salt version of. Ditto on this. Loving the Waterway, Millie or 3.5 would be my first cho...
