Re: Z-Wear Shaman lookout thread

I'm wondering how many people will go through all this for the Shaman, and then realize that model isn't for them!? They can obviously easily get their money back on the secondary market, but the massive hype makes me wonder. It's a large, stout, heavy knife (which I LOVE, having 3 different models...

Re: Z-Wear Shaman lookout thread

I thought there was going to be lots of these. I don’t have the energy to try and get one of these again. They sold out on less than a second last time and COVID has really turned up the bot buying. I feel you dude, I was losing hope also as the past few days I was manually refreshing different ret...

Re: Z-Wear Shaman lookout thread

Bro, you are a freaking GOD! I was just doing some work and thought "I should refresh the forum", BOOM! Saw the link, clicked, did Paypal check out and ordered confirmed. Freaking sweet, and my *** was getting down earlier this week. Thank you guys for being vigilant and looking out on eve...

Re: Shaman Z-Wear Sprint - General Discussion & Support thread - (not alerts)

I literally have all retailers up and been refreshing all morning.
Of course the one time I'm on the phone with 911 and dispatching, St NIcks decides:
"PERFECT TIME TO DROP". At this point idgaf if I pay second hand prices. I'll gladly pay 300, but I will
not pay 4.

Re: Z-Wear Shaman lookout thread

Honestly.... I fair better against the massive bot swarms and server crashes that come with planned exclusives.... Rather than this random: "here they are, oh look over there, over here now"! I usually passively go through knife web pages to see what's new and upcoming.... but I NEVER am ...

Re: Z-Wear Shaman lookout thread

Screenshot_20210204-193642.png This is very frustrating! If Spyderco would consider making this a production run you wouldn't be seeing the scalpers on eBay. On the other hand the knife does look very nice since I haven't seen it in person. I may not with the demand... It is very frustrating especi...

Out of stock now at spyderco.com
Am I tripping, I thought these were going to online distributors also?

If not oh well that's how the game goes sometimes.

I consider myself lucky for being able to score during the second sale and I have a m4 tanto pm2 coming.

Any one get an email confirmation on order?
I did, although I'm not sure that really confirms anything stock-wise.
I was surprised to find a order confirmation email in my inbox as none of my wepage orders seemed to go through.

Re: BHQ Exclusive Tanto PM2 - M4/Jade

Well the BHQ wasn’t ready for this but I was able to snag both versions after 25 minutes of refreshing the page each step of the process. Same here, it was such a battle to do so too... I thought the DLC sold out so I was primarily focused on the satin, but I kept refreshing all pages none stop try...

Re: BHQ Exclusive Tanto PM2 - M4/Jade

Still here.... still fighting... I got to the final stage of checkout for 2 satin but it crashed, now Im fighting for a 1 dlc and 1 satin. Looks like they're sold out on my end because now my cart shows no items... I literally was on the website right on time to the second. I have participated in ma...

Re: The 75 Pacer....

I also feel like this model is a love story to Taiwan itself...

You have a Taiwanese designer, choosing a deadly snake indigenous to the island, and you have Taichung.
Spyderco's premium factory pumping out probably one of the most unique and baddest production blades in a long time.

Re: The 75 Pacer....

The knife as is, seems really interesting to me, liner lock and all, but it is pretty big. I’m like 80% sure I heard there was a smaller version in the works a long time ago. Could be misremembering, though. I vaguely remember that also, but tbh this knife completely fell off my radar until I picke...

Re: The 75 Pacer....

When I saw 75 pacer, I thought you were going to recommend a %25 smaller Hundred Pacer lol. A 3 inch blade hundred pacer would be an interesting knife. I think 25 percent smaller would be a good starting point. 3 to 3.5 inch would be excellent and would be plenty for regular EDC tasks. I really lik...

Re: The 75 Pacer....

I wanted one. But I was pretty sure the pinky choil and overall size of the back of the handle was going to drive me crazy. I feel you, and normally I would agree as I like a nice firm secure grip. However, I find that the extra room on this knife can provide you with four grip options. Choked up t...

I would be interested if it was done linerless with a backlock.
Would you still want g10 handles, frn, or even a stainless pacer?

Re: The 75 Pacer....

IMG_20210126_100808_148.jpg Comparison against the manix and the pm2. I'm a huge fan of the hundred pacer and the negative blade angle it offers. The thin cutting geometry, the blade to handle ratio, even the finger groove on the bottom for in and out of pocket purchase. The xhp was Rockwell tested...
