I'm sure I'm in the minority here, but I wouldn't mind having black G10. Or even a darker gray.
Any non clad high carbon steel would be cool, but zdp would work as well. I'd just like to see another G10 endura and delica run soon.

Re: First contact
First contact for me was in an Avail song. A few years later I ended up with a combo edge pro-grip. Carried it for 6-7 years never really thinking it was anything too special. When I lost it and had to try and find a replacement...that's when the bug bit!

Re: Your Blue Collar SPYDERS
I'm an electrician and rotate between my para 2 and g10 endura for work use. Both are great knives for my work, but I'm on the hunt for a little bit tougher steel. The s30v seems to chip fairly often and the vg10 seems to roll the edge more. Would like to try a zdp endura or stretch and looking forw...

Re: Spyderco's Hidden & Forgotten models
Great thread. My first spyderco was a pro-grip, which has been mentioned here as a forgotten model. And for anyone looking for some of these less often seen models, there is a catcher man for sale right now on bladeforums. Not sure if the price is good, but thought I'd pass along the info.

Not sure if this fits into the "niche" category or just a dream knife for me....

Jaypowell - don't just joke, do it!! It was an amazing moment and if you are into knives and spyderco in particular enough to be on the forums then it is an opportunity not to be missed. One thing this thread has made me consider is that I wish there was one offering from Spyderco that had that old ...

Best Spyderco Use Yet!!
On May 28th at 12:37 am, I used my Super Blue Caly 3.5 to cut my son's umbilical cord. I had discussed previously with our midwife the possibility of using my own pocket knife when the time came. I think she must have thought I was joling but when the time did come and she handed me the surgical sci...

Thanks for the replies. I forgot to include that I would like these knives for EDC rotation. I usually shuffle through a PM2, g10 endura, and a Delica 1. While I agree that the Caly is probably the better choice for everyday tasks I also have to agree with Gbelleh, that I should grab any Persian I s...

Another "Which to Buy" thread. Sorta
There are two spyderco knives that I have to have. The super blue Caly 3.5 and the large bolstered Persian. Sadly, I missed the boat when these knives came out and I am on a budget. They seem to go for similar prices and seem to be about equally as scarce, so which do I get first? Does anyone see th...

eBay SCORE!!
So I purchased an Endura 4 on eBay a few months ago for $40. Good deal right? Especially because it had custom black G10 scales. For the longest time I couldn't figure it out. At first I thought it started life as a stainless handle version and somebody had milled it down to fit g10 scales. Nope. It...

Perrin style mule handle
Has anyone done a deep finger choil on a mule? Similar to a street beat?? I know the holes in the tang may limit how deep it could be. Also the street beat is 4mm compared to the mules 3mm. If nothing else any photoshop wizards want to give it a shot?
