1992. It was a full serrated edge with a built in carabiner clip called the Snap it (I think). I bought it at REI in Sacramento, California. I actually bought 2 of them, but I only know where one of them is at this point.

Tasman salt SE for me. It's a great knife--lightweight, great cutting power, plus a sharp point that works for small precise tasks.
