Re: Buck Slim Pro 110 and 112

How is the f&f on the sk knives smoke jumper? The 112 slim select I've handled looks pretty crude, with an unnecessarily bulky clip and an unintentional recurve from the factory sharpening

Also, just noticed that the rival series exists - more modern design with a midlock lockback

Re: S90V Love ~

No s110v love? On paper it trades a tiny bit of toughness for wear resistance (and is a regular Spyderco offering)

Re: Black S90V Delica with blue liners - KW exclusive

Horses for courses, but a little staining on otherwise a great steel was enough to out you off?

Has this staining occured on any other s90v blades? Maybe it's seki still getting used to working with steels they're not familiar with

Hope a CQI is in order
Rounding off the D shaped holes for the Chicago screw is very annoying -

Is this an Italian mfg specific issue?

Totally forgot about the R - not a fan of the scales, but great pattern - reminds me of the Opus a bit

Blade hq is a lot larger company than dlt - they can afford to order more and/or are allotted more

Re: Intro to tool steel?

Thanks, I have very little experience sharpening steels harder than opinel/victorinox knives - and I was never really good at it (could never reliably form a full burr);- will this be an issue with harder steels? I plan to get a full set of dmt stones (and more sharpies, and maybe a edge pro to rese...

Intro to tool steel?

If someone were to get their toes wet with a tool steel, which one would you recommend (on the easier to get side, so no crucarta shamen :D )?

I meant that as an excited reaction!

I should give it a shot, I've used sheepsfoot traditional blades a lot - I do worry about rounding off the very pointy tip while sharpening, though
