Re: Interest in Front Flipper by Spyderco?
I don’t consider any of the Spyderco knives mentioned above to be true front flippers, the tabs are all at the rear/top of the knife. I’d love to see something from Spyderco in this area!

Re: 2021 wish list!
Titanium Paramilitary 2! There's all manner of companies that make titanium scales for the PM2. I feel like Spyderco should focus their resources on new model development and cranking out their current popular knives rather than spend time working on something that already exists. I agree with you ...

2021 wish list!
Dear Spyderco, 2020 sucked for so many people. Please help make 2021 awesome with the release of a Titanium Paramilitary 2! I know that’s a big ask but I think it’s possible after the copper PM2 was released this year. Oh, and please make it standard production or a sprint and not an exclusive to gi...

Re: Still looking for UKPK in new steels and colors
Maxamet! Sweet Jebus, yes!! A dark gray G10 Maxamet with the same excellent finish as the other Golden Maxamet blades would be phenomenal! :D Absolutely this. But yes, anything else would be great too. G10 or CF please. And S90V and CF ukpk would be amazing as well. There was a thread long ago abou...

Definitely count me in for a wharncliffe ukpk with a steel upgrade.
Seems there is a lot of interest for these special ukpk versions but we are still waiting for something to happen. Remember the ukpk salt?

Re: Scratches in G10
I’ve found that rit dye will remove superficial marks in g10. Now that's the first time I've ever heard that before. I've been trying to decide whether or not to dye the scales on my M390 Military model because the handle I have is starting to fade somewhat and I'm just wondering what a dye job wou...

Here is a quick video of my latest liner lock. CPM-20CV hollow ground blade with double black canvas micarta contoured scales. I’m waiting for my mill to be delivered so I didn’t make a custom clip for it. But they are coming. https://youtu.be/VexzVk5opMY I also made some fun little whatncliffe blad...

Michael, what you’re saying is true, for you. But clearly it’s not true for many others.
I open this knife no differently than any other Spyderco I own.

Re: The comings and goings of a SwayBack
I’ve got large hands and have no problem opening it the same was as all my other Spyderco knives. I suspect you were pushing on the lockbar at the same time as you were trying to open it. Naturally I can’t be sure of that but it sure sounds like it to me. Tyler over at GP Knives was kind enough to o...

I hardly ever see someone share a picture of a Para 3 without the clip replaced with a 3rd party clip.

Re: Emerson knives??
Hi Raven, I’ve purchased about 7 Emerson’s over the years and I can tell you that the newly made ones are superior in action, detent strength and lockup. I still experience lock stick but it seems to break in and go away. The grinds are beautiful and the finished is pretty good. I say pretty good be...
