Re: Spyderco's Taichung (Taiwan) Folders

Don't forget the Mules! Couldn't tell you which ones off the top of my head, but I know at least 18 and 19 are Taichungian. I'll look it up... Aren't the Mules all fixed blade? If so, remember I restricted the list to just folders. I know these fixed blades are made in Taiwan: Bushcraft, Serrata, P...

Re: Issues with PhpBB Spyderco Forums

The editor definitely needs some souping up. Video embedding and more automated coding for lists, IMG, URL, etc.

Re: Issues with PhpBB Spyderco Forums

Kristi,

I understand and this dude will patiently abide.

No worries and thanks a whole bunch for your excellent efforts.

I know it's not easy nor will it all be accomplished overnight.

Thanks again,
Ram

Re: Spyderco's Taichung (Taiwan) Folders

AFAIK, everything on that list except the Cat, Chicago, Salsa, and S, were (or are) made by the folks in Taichung. Those four were/are made by another maker in Taiwan. Obviously, all Salsa, "S" and the S30V/CF Cat & Chicago folders have been discontinued. My question is whether ALL cu...

Re: Spyderco's Taichung (Taiwan) Folders

My Cat & Chicago folders are of the 440C/G-10 variety so I'm safe. What were the issues, if any, with the Salsa ones? They look like cute little folders with colors (titanium or aluminum handles), cobra hood and compression lock. There is nothing "wrong" with them. I don't recall they...

Were those the Cat/Chicago ones in 440C/G-10 or the discontinued S30V/CF ones?

Re: Spyderco's Taichung (Taiwan) Folders

Great list :). Only thing to consider is some of the Taiwaineese Spyderco knives (as I understand) aren't made in the same shop that puts out knives like the Gayle Bradley and Sage line. Earlier Cat/Chicago and Salsa's for example. That and the Sage1 is still in production. Are you saying that the ...

Spyderco's Taichung (Taiwan) Folders

Spyderco's Taichung (Taiwan) Folders are amongst my favorite and arguably amongst the highest quality in the world. Great designs, craftsmanship, quality, collaborations and materials. Here's an alphabetical list of the Spyderco Taichung folders (except for Dealer/Distributor Exclusives & Sprint...

Spyderco Sprint Runs & Exclusives

The page on the Spyderco website for Spyderco Exclusives has not been updated since June 2012. Any chance it could be updated? There were some updates in the August 2014 Spyderco Byte and the July 2014 Spyderco Byte : http://i1282.photobucket.com/albums/a540/RamZar/9868f1116f9be183ddd2ccc47b99d4da_z...

Seems like Admin can address add-in issues like video embed, inability to edit posts, text editor formatting, etc. by consulting phpBB forum.

Re: I like the new look!

I cannot edit some of my previous posts! Same here. It seems I can only edit post I just did. Posting on the forum, going to another website and coming back to the forum all from the same tab still grant me the right to edit. For unknown reason and not on every post, I can't edit it. Tried switching...

On the Spyderco website (not the forum) when you click FORUMS > FORUMS HOME it works fine.

However, the following have the old links:
