Years ago, I bought my wife a Navigator 2 plain edge. She really likes the size and feel of it, and still carries it. But it's all scratched up from being in her purse for so many years. I'll probably get her a pink Native for Christmas.

Primary, bigger blade in front right pocket. LBK or SAK in right cargo pocket. And occasionally, a Military or Yojimbo in rear right pocket. In the summer, I sometimes wear a fanny pack. A Cricket fits in a small side pocket perfectly. Most fix blades go on left side of belt, slightly canted forward...

I'd be very interested in a sprint Caly Jr! Not too sure about an FRN Caly 3/3.5... I don't have a 3/3.5 yet, but recently added the 3.5 to top of my wish list after finally handling one. What attracts me to it is how the shape and feel seem so refined. I like FRN on some of my knives. No offense to...

Is this something that can be fixed under warranty, or is it not worth it? I don't know if they would replace the sheath, or if it can be heated and molded better...? I boxed it to send it out, but now I'm not sure if it's worth the shipping and 3 week turn around to find out nothing can be done. Ma...

I was thinking the same thing! I like the G-clip, but this knife is so beautiful! Leather would be awsome.

DCDesigns, thank you for the correction.

Thanks guys. The more I look at this the more I'm disappointed. I waited over 3 weeks because it was back ordered through OpsFocus, for the sheaths. It finally arrived yesterday, and it was bad enough that I noticed it immediately. The edges on the sheath on the top seemed very sharp and unfinished....

I've gotta work in the yard in the morning. I'll be putting my new Southfork to use. Later, for work, I might switch up and go with the Sage 2 or a Military.

Southfork Sheath

For those that have this knife... Does your knife rattle, or move up and down in the sheath? I just got mine yesterday. I'm blown away by the looks and feel of this knife. But the tip rattles back and forth in the sheath (from spine to edge direction). It does not feel like it will come out because ...

I just got the Techno last week. I don't have the Leafstorm. And, I'm not sure why, but I never gave the Leafstorm a second look until reading the posts in the other thread mentioned above... I may have to look at it some more. I absolutely love the Techno! The stonewashed finish is very cool lookin...

FFG Endura with navy blue FRN scales, in ZDP-189.

Etched Scorpius (like the spin and cricket etched scales).

Police in navy blue G10.

Ocelot, minus paw prints, maybe dark green G10.

Man I'm super picky about keeping my blade sharp but I'm not this picky. I'd sooner carry a backup blade over a sharpening stone. Now, if I'm doing some camping or extended fishing trips I'd bring something then. Ditto Evil D's reply. I don't see the need for me, based on my usage and today's steel...

I don't remember if mine were like that when I first got them... If they were, it wasn't much, and didn't stay like that for long. They are smooth as glass now.

Congrat's on the purchase. I love the UF stones. You will be very impressed with what they will do to your edges.

Doc said it much better than I did. I consider my duty knife more of a tool, just like my edc/off duty carry. And I think of self defense more in relation to weapon retention or as a back up to my pistol. I know officers that carry the Ka-bar TDI and other fixed blades, for off hand draw. I've been ...
