I think a lot of shops have met their limit of pre-orders. I've got one in at Howe's, but the pre-orders stopped shortly after I placed mine.

Carbon Fiber Dodo. Is it out?!

It's listed under new knives in the catalog. Does that mean they are shipping to dealers? Description says ceramic ball lock... Looks very cool. I'm very excited about this one, after missing out on the orange!

Wow, I think that's below dealer cost. The Southfork has become a favorite of mine. Great deal.

I love the looks of the digicamo with black blade. I'm trying to be patient as I await my Para. Congrats on a great purchase.

Have you considered the diamond rods for the Sharpmaker? I just used them to reprofile my Southfork after I cut something stupid. It took a long time, but that is S90V. Most kitchen knives would take no time. But after doing the Southfork stupid incident, I decided to look for something that will re...

I have a cable lock made for a firearm that I put through the Spyderco Hole and I lock my knife to the metal frame of my checked bag. I also tie some para-cord around the non-pivot end of the handle to keep the blade shut during travel. Never had a problem. Enjoy your trip. :) Boy, I like that idea...

Titanium has become one of my favorite materials for knife scales. I've been carrying a Sebenza, Techno, and Sage an awful lot. The Sebenza for maybe 6 months. Techno for about a month. The Sage since it came out. I don't know why, but my Sage is practically flawless/scratchless. The Techno, too. I ...

Thanks for a great review. I find myself wanting more fixed blades after my recent purchase of a Southfork. I love it, but it's a little too big for edc, for me. I think the Street Beat will be my next order.

First suggestion would be Techno. Followed by Caly, Delica, Native. Another good choice would be a discontinued Paramilitary (first generation).

I don't have a good answer. That question has never crossed my mind. But I don't see anything that would make me think my kids won't be able to use it long after I'm gone.
