The Sage 5 LW is a very nice package, light and compact with decent blade length. The wire clip is perfect for this knife. Really good representation of the compression lock here as well. Tool steel is king in my book. But woudn't want to be without a decent stainless.

I really strongly dislike the sharpening notch (aka giant snag point) on the GB2, and the GB1 doesn't have it so that's really all I need but the GB1 is one I always went back and forth with buying but never did, and if they did a run in MagnaCut I'd cave. Technically, there is no sharpening notch....

I do have half dozen of PM2s, and had that in Native 5 (let couple go) at one point.

I wish they kept the scale chamfering of the old model. Looks like it has harder corners, more like the PM2. Also, wonder what the liners look like. Do they run the full handle, or partial?
