Re: KnifeCenter Exclusive CPM-Cruwear Paramilitary 2
There was a thread a while back wherein Kristi admitted they spelled CRU-WEAR incorrectly. I was under the impression it would be corrected, but apparently not. I like it Spyderco's way better.

Re: Sharpest Factory Edge?
I've been thoroughly impressed by the edge on many of my Spydercos, but the one that really stands out is my Native 5 Maxamet.

Re: salt 2 scales
It seems like the scales would be the same, but there could be internal differences. If it's just the color you're not fond of you could always dip them in Rit.

Re: Shaman not staying worn in?
When I first got my Shaman the action was lackluster and I had a bit of buyer's remorse. However, I loosened the pivot some and now it's my favorite knife. There is a bit of blade play, but I don't worry about it too much. I do believe, however, that the detent maybe a bit too strong, especially com...

Re: Anyone hear going to the Eugene OR knife show 2018?
With what I have heard about Eugene, it seems like the kind of place that would not be hospitable to a knife show.

Plain-Jane Shaman for me. I would love another PM2, but decided to go for a model I didn't already have.

I've never cared for the Positron but at $99 for CF I couldn't resist.archangel wrote:KC has added 7 more :spyder: models to their clearance sale. Mostly flippers, I believe.

I was lucky enough to grab a Manbug before they dried up. I'd love a Caly Jr in Superblue with grey scales to match the others.murphjd25 wrote:Superblue or White. I missed the Superblue runs and they rarely come up for sale anymore, and when they do it's for a ungodly price.

I sure could use one. The ones on the market now all seem to be Chinese junk.

Re: Pacific salt disassembly
The backspacer on the Pacific Salt is integrated with the scales. As such, it's difficult to remove the spring, and even harder to install. The blade and lock bar should not be too terribly hard to remove. You can easily change the color if the FRN with Rit dye, if that helps. With H1 there's no nee...

Re: PM2 in ZDP-189
Yeah, that would be a nice combo. Unfortunately, I believe ZDP is typically only used for Japan-produced knives, so not likely to appear on the PM2. That's what I understand. Apparently, shipping raw stock over the western pond is prohibitively expensive. It's much more economical to transfer the f...

Re: 2017 Forum Knife poll
I think it should be a Golden model. Native had its time a few years back. I think it's time for Manix to shine. Maybe a new shade of translucent FRCP.
