Great price, but those colors just don't do it for me......

I have 3-4 with laminated blades and all are consistent on both sides. I don't blame you for being upset - poor workmanship. Makes me glad that no more laminates are on my wish list.

I changed my mind and cancelled a couple pre-orders at KC Monday for V-tukuku..... whatever :)

I don't think there is a retailer within a 100 miles of us. The few I've been in on our travels have:

1. Had limited models
2. Were charging MSP prices.

So I determined long ago all my Spyderco's would be purchased online :)

Perhaps scale countersink was drilled too deep? Or perhaps they simply designed something improperly - consumer should be able to move the clip as advertised without issues................. :mad: I moved the clip on a dice a while ago and it clearly impacted the flipping action. Got my first Ladybug today. KC had the Victorinox coupler and it makes for a nice "lanyard" when knife removed from key chain.

I've never seen a Spyderco auction close that wasn't regular street price or lower. Lots of auctions have ridiculous prices, but nobody is buying those.

Sprint runs and exclusives sell for more than retail all the time.

I can't see any reason to even check for blade play before lockup. So long as it's right once locked up I wouldn't be concerned. Knives aren't designed to be used halfway open.

Agree. Would never occur to me to look for that, or care. Not sure I would even call it "blade play".

Will be interesting to see how long this hangs around after coming out. I would think it won't sell out real quick.
