It took seven minutes for the page to load and it says sold out. Wasn’t meant to be.
Said sold out on the page before anyway. Maybe keep trying?

Re: KC Exclusive Shaman Rosewood REX 45

I never thought I got it until the offer to cancel from KC. Yesterday I carried briefly. Love it. But things get a little strange for me now that I am considering a G-10 version. I'm curious if there's a complimentary clip option that won't protrude so much?

Hi Sky,

Your equipment will do the job, depending on your skill level. You may consider looking into a Sharpmaker?

sal
Thanks Sal. I am going to get a Sharpmaker for sure.
I am loving the Shaman by the way.
Have you ever seen any of those mystery drones out there?

Hi Sky,

What do you use for sharpening?

sal
Hi Sal,
I have a few Diamond bench stones of medium and fine grit, and an ultra fine Spyderco ceramic bench stone.
I use the diamond medium and fine less than the ceramic ultra fine. Also a Spyderco 50/50 split medium and fine ceramic.
Take care,
Sky

Re: KC Exclusive Shaman Rosewood REX 45

I agree with a lot of what's being said. I'm not sure what to do yet but for better or worse I have one. I know I can sharpen Cruwear, and wished I had gotten that one. I'm not so sure about my ability to sharpen REX 45. That may be my deciding factor because I would want a used knife to test on bef...

Correct. I'm nobody and I like it. (PM2 and Para 3.) Then again I have several smooth scaled "traditional" knives so it never presented an issue for me.
Nice! Thank you for the comment.

Re: KC Exclusive Shaman Rosewood REX 45

:spyder: Nobody liked the KC exclusive, smooth black G10 PM2 Cruwear either. And I got one of the last ones and it was a steady carry until recently. I'm a rare one who prefers smooth. For me it's more about the weight and balance in this case. I haven't ever held a Shaman. I just had to check this ...

Re: KC Exclusive Shaman Rosewood REX 45

With additional Rex-45 models on the way I almost passed. This one is more appealing to me than orange scaled version. I'm going to check out the "first teardown" video. Thanks SteveMidwest for bringing that to my attention.
