Re: Delica 4 in 2024?

Guys showing off knives wearing disposable surgical gloves?? Heck is going on here!?! Haha I've seen that several times and and I just shake my head. I don't watch reviews on YT anymore. If I see a knife that I think I might like I'll buy it and try it for myself rather than listen to what some wan...

Re: Delica 4 in 2024?

When it was time to pick a knife to carry this morning I realized I hadn't carried a Delica in awhile. I had the K390 Endela on me a few times recently. So a K390 Wharnie Delica is what I chose to carry today. I've mentioned before that I think my hands must be about the same size as Sal and Eric's....

Re: Native 5 Lightweight - Lube pivot or not?

I have 5 or 6 Native 5 LWs. I've never lubed any of them and they never felt like they needed any break in time. They all feel pretty smooth and the blade drops down on my finger by pushing the lockbar. Same with all the other non-LW Native 5s I have. Lube if you must but I feel it's unecessary I ha...

Re: EDC recommendation: Native 5 LW – S30V or SPY27?

They're both great IMO. Flip a coin. You might find SPY27 a little easier to sharpen but S30V is pretty easy to touch up on the Sharpmaker once you get the hang of it

Re: 2023 - Did your preferences change or stay the same?

Still the same for me I'm not very picky Favorite model is the one in my pocket that day I prefer 3" blades for EDC but that's flexible up or down I like all kinds of handle materials I like a variety of lock types I have all kinds of different steels but as long as I can get it sharp and it ho...

Re: River's Edge PM2

Thinking it would be a bit till REC releases another run so I am thinking of getting one off of the bay. Thoughts??? Welcome back Eagle1. It was over 3 years between runs. So yeah, it'll be awhile. The REC PM2 is nice but, aside from the PVD coated blade, it really isn't any different than any othe...

Re: Define the different size categories FOR YOU

For me I'd say.... Micro - 2" ish (Manbug, Ladybug, Jester, etc) Small - 2.5" ish (Dragonfly, Urban, etc) Medium (Regular) - 3" (this size is right in my wheelhouse for EDC) Large - 3.5" (I really like this size too) X-Large - 4" (I have knives this size but rarely carry the...

Awesome knife for the price. Just need to tell myself I already have two Para 3s.
I have 4 of the LWs alone. But recently I was thinking I could probably lose the DLT M390 one. Maybe this would be a good replacement? I do like the idea of having a Cruwear Para 3. Hmmm....

Re: Advice re: Manix 2 LW

Something's up if it took multiple knives to break down a single box. Hit any staples or anything? Nope! Nothing was up. It was a big appliance box and I intentionally cut it up into tiny pieces I'll probably do the same with the bike box if I have the time (and desire). I did the same with the box...

I looked at some of them on epray and they look legit but I guess it's hard to say. The asking prices make me feel very grateful that I got my factory 2nd directly from Spyderco Yeah, I wish I'd been able to snag one of those 2nds. That would be perfect for a user. I can't bring myself to use the o...

Re: Manix 2 LW deep carry pocket clip

Sorry this happened to you. I will say that a deep carry pocket clip is made for this from Spyderco. The pocket clip comes from the now discontinued Spyderco Foundry. I ordered a couple from them back then and it fits my Manix 2 lightweight beautifully. I'd call back and see if they can sell you on...

I've not heard of any Paysan fakes at this point. Considering a integral I kind of doubt there'll be counterfeits made but I've been wrong before
