Re: C152RN Raffir Noble Chaparral Showcase...POST YOURS UP!!!
Yeah that's pretty close...I'm actually a few minutes South of Calgary, but hopping onto 22x and ripping around through Bragg Creek is a fun drive to Canmore, and I now have a fun car to do the drive in so I'd definitely be down. I can walk you through the Photobucket process if you'd like...it make...

I guess we need calipers, for me they look the same. Or possibly the RN is every so slightly thicker, but I don't think so lol :) Whereabouts are you in AB if you don't mind me asking? I think I'll go take a picture of mine. I bought it at a local B&M so I was able to choose between the display...

Re: I need some Maxamet...which one?
My Manix has broken in really nicely so far and I can operate the lock one handed quite easily. Flips out and back closed perfectly and smoothly every time, and it's very satisfying. Definitely better than the S110V LW I have, and better than the black BD1 that I sold a few years ago. If it was my m...

PM2 (Any variant but especially CruWear (CruWear Millie close second)).
Police4 (I'm buying one) or ATR (Also buying the new one coming out, but I'd love to try an original).
Chicago.

Re: Three Questions
Welcome to the forum and thanks for your service. The SharpMaker is always a good choice, as are both the Delica and Manix platforms. If you like the Manix, make sure to take a good look at the ParaMilitary2. I prefer it to either (I've been carrying a Manix2 LW most lately, but that's more to get a...

Re: Should i get a battlestation
I like the more rounded aftermarket scales I have even better than the factory scales. There's more than enough grip due to the ergos to make me more than fine without the G10 scales. These are a little thicker than the factory scales (I wouldn't say twice as thick but at least a 50% increase in wid...

Re: Should i get a battlestation
I have one. I also have shred carbon fiber scales on mine that are a little thicker than stock and quite a bit more contoured and they really improve the knife IMO...having said that, the ergos with the stock scales are absolutely fantastic. The knife has to be held to really appreciate it. I don't ...

Re: Definite purchases out of the new releases?
The Police 4 is a must have for me at this point. It'll be like a high-end Endura but in K390 (At least that's my hope). At the very least, I want more K390 and the size is perfect for me at work so it's a no-brainer. I also need an ATR, just because. I also like the fact that it'll have G10 handles...

Re: Most Apocalypse Spyderco?
Hi, why do you prefer cruwear to ordinary s30v? Hi, I find it to be a lot more forgiving to damage of basically all sorts and still have good wear resistance, and definitely adequate corrosion resistance. I work construction (Build and maintain cell phone towers), and I've found it to be my favouri...

Re: Most Apocalypse Spyderco?
I'm going to answer based on what I currently own (Is available NOW). Fixed Blade would definitely be the Seratta. Folder would first be the CruWear Military, and if I could have two I'd also include my H1 Spyderhawk SE. Having said that...I'd take all of my Spydies in my Spyderpac and make the most...

CruWear PM2 for sure as an overall choice. Such a good steel in such a good overall package.

Re: Knife laws in Canada
Rigger is that the Spyderhawk or is that the Tasman Salt the hawkbill you posted? Spyderhawk. I carry my Tasman Salt a lot more because it's easily replaceable...and it's probably the best "Beater" knife I've owned (By a country mile). I do things with that knife that I wouldn't dare to d...
