So the Techno 2 would have a similar blade shape to the top knife? That would be nice.

Techno 2 sounds interesting. How would it differ from the original Techno?

Re: Filleting Fish...

If he's been using an electric fillet knife for years then he's probably quite skilled with it and he'll likely keep using it for the rest of his days. That's just the dirty truth. ;) My father is a great example of this. He has been fishing for 65 years and has been using an electric fillet knife ...

Re: A Complete Rundown on Lube? Wet & Dry?

Try a lube discussion on a gun forum. All h*ll breaks loose. I'd used CLP for years; military guy. But now use Ballistol on my guns. Non-toxic which is nice and it works great. I use Tug-Glide on knives but you guys are much more well versed in knife care than I am.

Good for you Carl. If I didn't already have 1 I would have grabbed it. Would like to see how you like the leather sheath that comes with the knife. Congrats.

Re: Migraines vs. the Daith piercing

Sincerely hope it works for you. When I was younger I suffered from migraines. Took Fiorinal for years. Never could figure out what triggered them but I too cannot sleep too many hours. As I have gotten older they are less infrequent and severe. If I catch them early Excedrin and Motrin combined wil...

Re: Bait vs Fillet knives: How to define?

The right tool for the job vs. the user who knows how to use their tool/knife well irregardless of the design. A few years back when I was a junior Naval Officer I rented a room in a home from a very nice couple. The woman was the fisherman in that family. She was a wizard at filleting and cleaning ...

Re: Military selects Sig 320

Glock came out with their design and continue to expand and improve it. For me every other gun company coming out with a new polymer framed striker fired pistol is just an attempt at copying another's success. Can't fault them for doing it but I have yet to fire anything else that would get me to ut...

Re: New to Spyderco! Help me pick one

Delica 4 ZDP-189. Inexpensive and a great little knife. An absolute favorite model of most people here and for a good reason. It just plain carries well, works well, and you gotta love Spyderco backlocks.
