Re: Happy Birthday "Clovisc"
Thanks, fellow spydernuts! Life has kept me quite busy, but I still pack a spydie daily and check the forums a couple times per week.
Really looking forwards to the Lil Chokwe!
If anyone wants to see a presentation covering my work out in Chokweland, shoot me a PM . :D

Native Salt Teaser in Spyderco Byte Newsletter
After reading the article in the Spyderco Byte on the upcoming LC200N Native Salt, I am feeling 110% ready to order mine! Has anyone heard when they will be available? I have been hugely impressed by LC200N, and oftentimes prefer FRN to other scale materials. The Native is such an intuitive and ergo...

Re: yojimbo salt
I would enjoy a Yojimbo salt! I am not sure how successful it would be, or how much mainstream appeal it would have. Maybe a blacked-out LC200N special forces version?

Re: "Spyderco Scandinavian Survival Knife": Who's in?
Mora knives are a ubiquitous component of life in southeast Alaska, being used by many fishermen and hunters. There are plenty of imitators, as well. The attraction is they are cheap, easy to field sharpen, and semi-disposable. I don't know that Spyderco would be successful in taking much market sha...

Re: Just bought a Chokwe
We've got the small Chockwe in-the-works. I carried a prototype for quite a while and found it to be unusually ergonomic considering it's just a "stick" handle. It shows that often refinement can take a different path and stiil get there. sal That is fantastic news! Yea - the small Chokwe...

Re: Smaller chokwe
So, I'm working on a smaller Chokwe design. about 3.25" blade. I'm looking for suggestions. Clip type, lock (I'm leaning to Compression), handle material, color, steel? sal I apologize for being late to the party, but am delighted by this news! Here are my suggestions, although I am just one o...

Or a Spyderco documentary with lots of interviews, anecdotes, etc.? Could be faster and less expensive to produce, and video interviews become treasures with time.

The extra strong retention ability of the sheath is one of my favorite qualities of the Aqua.

Re: Diving Knives: Your choices?
I snorkel and spearfish (polespear) when I am in the tropics. Dragonfly salt, and/or a cheap stainless Mora are my go to choices. Something I won't feel terrible about losing underwater, or to an airport bag handler.

Re: T-Mag Sprint...any interest?
Cool design, interesting lock, but not something I would buy. I believe Spyderco and its vendors had a tough time selling all of the knives which were originally produced.

Would love to see a lightweight and affordable Spyderco FRN Karambit built on the Endura platform using this concept.
