If it's a Para 3 LW or Kapara I will be all over it. Fingers crossed!

Re: Crazy deals @ Sierra and other places

Campsaver.com is running 20% off one regular priced item and 20% off the outlet. Until 5/27 All their Spyderco SKUs are marked "on sale" at MAP prices and the coupon doesn't work. When they had a 20% coupon last month I called them and they honored the discount on a Drunken. (though word ...

Re: Para 3 lightweight

This knife is crying out for a factory "regrind." With the lightweight scales and hardly any liners, it makes even LESS sense to have a knife this length with a 4mm thick blade. What prying are you going to be doing with a knife that light in the frame? I received my Para 3 LW today and a...

Would a CRK Clip work?
I tried that, but it doesn't fit into the recessed part of the scale where the normal clip goes, so it would probably slide around since it's just one screw. I was also worried about it scratching the Ti scale.

Re: The Drunken: Amazing Knife, Ruined by its Pocket Clip.

I was coming on here to make the exact same post as the OP. It's such a great knife that I really want to like but I'm really close to returning it because the clip is so bad. I'll try it on a few more pants tomorrow. Maybe this pair is especially bad and maybe I can resend the clip but if it doesn...

Re: The Drunken: Amazing Knife, Ruined by its Pocket Clip.

A couple of other findings: The stop pin is corroded and looks old or used. Also, as I was holding the knife I heard something rattling; it turns out all of the scale screws were loose with one nearly falling out. I've never seen such low quality coming out of the Taichung factory. Not to add insul...

Re: The Drunken: Amazing Knife, Ruined by its Pocket Clip.

If you cannot figure a way to maneuver that clip away from that scale, perhaps you shouldn't own such a complex knife as this? You could really hurt yourself . . . Of course we can try bending the clip. I tried that after posting and thankfully the clip is thin so I was able to bend it with just my...

Re: The Drunken: Amazing Knife, Ruined by its Pocket Clip.

Here's a pretty good picture showing just how little clearance there is between the corner of the lockbar cutout and the pocket clip:

Re: The Drunken: Amazing Knife, Ruined by its Pocket Clip.

That clip looks poorly designed for the reasons you described although when looking at your photo in pocket, it seems like you should be able to push the knife in all the way. Is it catching on the lockbar cutout? I just received my Drunken today. I am able to slide it in all the way on my thinner ...

Re: Mule Team

MT26 (PMA11) just came back into stock on the Spyderco site. Thanks for that! I was kicking myself that I didn't pick one of these up after I saw they were out of stock several weeks ago. I was hoping there was a chance they would put more up since it wasn't moved to the "discontinued" se...

Re: Opinions Wanted: Top 5 Best Spydercos

Paramilitary 2 - favorite Spyderco ever. Great size, ergonomics, and functionality. Kapara - gives the PM2 a run for it's money. A little classier and even more ergonomic and "slicey." REALLY hoping some sprints/exclusives come out Dragonfly - my favorite small Spydie. Carry this when I w...

I would also be very interested in a LW PM2, especially a Salt version. The LW PM3 looks great, but it's just too small for my hand.

Mine, too. They said they weren't shipping until 12-26 so that's what I was expecting. No big deal that they were able to ship some of them early.

Re: Crazy deals @ Sierra and other places

I eBay 25% off up to $25 when paying with credit card and code PAYWCARD The unfortunate $25 cap makes this ideal for $100 or less items. Must pay with credit card (not Paypal). Is there a start time or is it website only? Can’t get code to work. After a quick google search, it looks like that code ...
