Pingo closing

Just wanting feedback on how your Pingo closes. I picked one up because of the super low price right now. And I absolutely love it. I know it’s a two hander, but man, I really gotta crank down on it to close it. Is this normal? I did a search on older threads, but couldn’t find anything. Just wonder...

I’ve had mine about a month. When I first got it, flicking was not an option. Way too stiff. Controlled deployment and two hand close only. But it had a very solid lockup. After carrying and using it only about half of the days out of the last month, the deployment is now super smooth, flicks easily...
