Re: Spyderhawk sprint yard work happy fun time

Looks like ye olde grape vine to me. I’ve got to cut it out of my azaleas every year. You also have some poisin ivy at the base of your bush...

Help me decide on a Salt

I’m taking my family to Hawaii later this month, my BIL is stationed there and we have a new niece to meet. I also live in Florida, so salt water is in my dna. The kids are old enough they’ve started asking about my boat, so I need to get it running again and start taking them scalloping and etc. An...

Re: M4 Para 3 Jade G10

Well it arrived today! Wasn’t expecting it til Monday. It’s bigger than the specs alone led me to believe. Glad I got this one and not the pm2!!

Here it is with my +10yo Benchmade 525:

Re: Wooden Dragonfly kit

Well that was short-lived. Handed it to my wife and she promptly opened it then tried to close it without depressing the lock. :( UKPK for her! I got her the 2016 “orchid violet” edition of the Victorinox Classic Alox for her birthday last year. I’m thinking that’s enough for her unless...

Re: Wooden Dragonfly kit

That’s cute that he wants to hold his daddy’s knife and really sweet that y’all made the dfly together. Sorry, I don’t know why, but that made a grown man all melty inside 😂 He wants to help do everything, including cooking. Just allow extra time.... it turns the most mundane and quick things into ...

Perhaps the plastic glow in the dark Delica kit would be better?
I figured if it’s to scale, it was way too big. But might be more durable.

Re: Wooden Dragonfly kit

Fixed it, judicious use of some gorilla superglue and a clothespin. A little sanding and wax paper washers, all better now. For now!

Re: Wooden Dragonfly kit

The tab on the back of the blade is busted off, and the blade sags until it makes contact with the lock bar. I might be able to glue something up. My son sat in my lap and we worked the knife together. He was fine. Mom just yonked on it like you’d expect a kid to... smh... there go any thoughts of o...

Wooden Dragonfly kit

My 3 year old son has been obsessed with my pocket knife lately. He always wants to hold it. But with an axis lock, the blade will easily open and that would be bad. So since I have a new spyderco inbound (due Monday), I ordered him the dragonfly kit knife. We put it together tonight, and it works q...

And they’re out of stock now
Whew! I’m glad I ordered it, I’d have been disappointed if I’d let it go. I’d have sought comfort by ordering the PM2 in 52100... might need to do that anyway 😎

Re: Found 8 more filet knives

Is the drawing for all 8 fillet knives, or will 8 names be drawn? I’m in (if I’m eligible, this is only my second post) IF the drawing is for only one knife per person. I’m a member of an archery forum and we just held a big auction for St. Jude’s children’s hospital. No finer cause! I’d love a chan...

Re: M4 Para 3 Jade G10

I was weak. As in I ordered one!! And a deep carry clip. I remember seeing Spyderco clipits advertised in print when I was a kid, maybe middle school days in the late 80s. Got my first one (worker) in college after seeing a friend with one. He didn’t think it was so great, but I remembered those ear...
