Re: What "Other" is in your pocket???
91885575-404F-44C0-A7FE-C6ADD37C90E1.jpeg Well, I had to sell three of my Spyderco’s to finance this knife but IMHO it was well worth it. I now have four CRK knives and this large Inkosi with the sheep’s foot blade is my favorite. Probably my best EDC, just can’t get it out of my pocket. Now if I c...

Re: What "Other" is in your pocket???
After recently purchasing a large Sebenza, I decided to get a small serrated one and I love it! I really like that the serrations are on both sides of the blade. :)

Re: Vote: SMOCK v.s. IKUCHI
I own both and have been carrying both regularly. They are excellent EDC knives. I find the Ikuchi a better slicer due to the thin blade stock and full flat grind and the Smock a better cutter and chopper based on its blade shape. Get both you won’t be disappointed. :)

Re: mid sized "gentleman" folder
So guys, I am looking for a new Spydie and need some guidance. I have smaller folders (Urban k390 and Dfly salt SE) and some larger users (pac Salt and millie in S90v). I am going to sell my Stretch 1 in ZDP and want to roughly flip that into a nicer gentleman folder. I was gonna try the manix LW S...

A124B16E-074E-4B07-A222-573FC0DFC173.jpeg Finally got my first Sebenza. It is simply a beautiful knife. At this point in my life I figure I’m going to carry it and not just look at it though it’s easy on the eyes. :) Don’t know why the pic is sideways but if you click on the pic it flips around. :c...

Re: Who else is getting an Ikuchi as soon as they are released?
Mine came today and I like it a lot. Nice and thin and weighs next to nothing. Put on a RG clip which IMHO looks and functions better than the wire clip. :)

Re: Ikuchi back to pre-order at KnifeCenter *update*
Yep my second one just shipped from DLT. I have had bad luck with preorders with Knife center so do not bother with them anymore. My favorites are GPKnives, DLT Trading, Knifeworks and Blade HQ. BBS is good also but shipping is expensive. Ditto me on that! I’ve never got a Knife Center preorder bef...

I recently found my BSA knife. It’s around 50 years old and still in good shape. As I recall it was my first folding knife. L :)

Re: Which spyderco is in the mail?
Found a NIB Native5 Never Summer on BF for a good price. :) 22F290E2-E006-4EFD-B2D9-EE411996EAF1.jpeg What's the story behind this knife? Always found the knife itself pretty cool and interesting. According to the Spyderco’s web site this is their description. “Through an exclusive arrangement with...

Re: S390
K390 is similar to CPM 10V with ~2.45%C, 9.75%V, which is quite different than S390/T15 1.6%C 4%V 12%W 5%Co. High W% and Co% for red-hot hardness (keep hardness at hot temperature). For abrasion cuts - K390 is more wear resistant than S390 at same hrc. Sounds interesting. I love my Police 4 in K390...
