Re: Great Customer Service Is Hard To Come By...

Another satisfied customer here! I've picked up a few of their clearance items (Tasman Salt, Dragonfly Tattoo) at great prices, and picked up the Orange & Black Tenacious exclusive. They have all arrived quickly, in great condition, and usually with some extras like band-aid dispensers and toots...

Re: Look What I Received In The Mail A Couple Days Ago...

I got one of these for my future brother in law. He's a huge Anaheim Ducks fan, and it's about as close to the team's colors as a factory Spyderco can get. I've been really impressed with the Tenacious knives I've handled, and the Orange & Black exclusive might be at the top.

Re: Official Sliverax Discussion Thread

I LOVE the Sliverax! Howdy Drew, Thanks for the kind words on the design, and I’ll take a comparison to Ken Onion any day... Glad you also feel the knife lives up to the price! - Paul And on the chance you are interested in some maker’s mark stickers, check out this thread: //forum.spyderco.com/vie...

Re: Official Sliverax Discussion Thread

I just received my Sliverax yesterday at work and could not stop fidgeting with it. Until recently, I had never spent more than around $20 for a knife, so I was skeptical about the value of a $150+ folder. Now that I've held it in hand, I'm 100% sure that this is the perfect knife for me. Before Chr...

Re: Crazy deals @ Sierra and other places

I bought the Sliverax a week too early. Oh well, it's still a **** of a knife. I just picked up a Centofante 3 with the 20% off. I might still pick up a couple more before the end of the day...

Re: Which spyderco is in the mail?

A brand new Sliverax is on its way to me and should arrive today or tomorrow. Planning on using it as my gentleman's carry during my wedding this May. My groomsmen will be receiving Spydercos as gifts from me for participating in my big day. On the flip side, I'll be shipping out a Ladybug Tattoo to...

The only one of the new(ish) Spyderco flippers i'd consider buying is the Sliverax.
I couldn't wait any longer for an Amalgam... I just ordered the Sliverax. I love the look of the Amalgam, but without a release date, I figured I might as well just get the 'ax and start saving up for the 'gam.

Re: Best Spyderco value

Gotta go with the Chaparral Lightweight. Dreamy. https://image.frl/i/0scvszlwjfsy4xhp.jpeg It looks so comfy! I'm enjoying all of the responses here. I'm looking to buy my first $100+ Spyderco soon and am finding lots of great suggestions. So far the Gayle Bradley and the various incarnations of th...

Re: ? for Spyderco regarding flipper design

I've been wanting this for a while. +1 Also I don't see the need for two opening methods. If it's a flipper, I want to open it with the flipper. Eliminate the thumb hole (obviously keep the small trademark hole), and make it a straight flipper. It would allow for a slimmer pocket friendly design. *...

Re: Crazy deals @ Sierra and other places

Lanbo's Armory has some pretty good discounts , but you have to add to cart to see the best pricing. $10 shipping eats some of the savings, though. I've been eyeing the Blue Para 2 at $140 shipped... If you buy them out, I won't be tempted!

Re: If you could build your ideal Spyderco....

My budget is tight with my wedding coming up. I'd like to see a Tenacious with a Japanese steel and a different scale color. Maybe VG10 or H1 with Yellow or Bright Green G10, or V-Toku2 in Gray/Blue Camo G10.

Re: Best Spyderco value

Value is subjective, but some of the best Spyderco values I've found include: Byrd Cara Cara Rescue. At $20, this is the perfect knife to put in my fiancee's car for any emergency uses she might need it for. In a worst-case-scenario, I'm confident that it will serve her well. Tenacious. For around $...

Re: SMKW Preorder Issues

I got a call on Friday about my preorder. I figured it was too good to be true the moment I placed it, so I wasn't all that bothered with their response. I asked for a refund, and the credit was confirmed on my credit card the next day.

No harm, no foul as far as I'm concerned.

Re: PM2 Or PM3

I bought my brother a partially-serrated Para 3 as a gift (mostly because I couldn't find a partial serrated PM2), and he absolutely loves it. He wears Medium gloves, and I'm between a Medium/Large glove, and we both feel like the P3 is the ideal size for EDC and feels tougher than its size might su...

Not anymore! I bought the last one - couldn't resist the $50 price. I figured it'll be a nice pocket-friendly knife for hiking, swimming, or whatever I get up to.
