So they will have 10 of them in stock and sell 100 of them before realizing what they have done?

Re: So what's your top 3 favorite steels? and why?
1. Cruwear - should be a production steel for all flagship Golden and Seki knives 2. LC200N - anxiously awaiting FFG LC200N salts 3. 3V - still waiting on some 3V folder exclusives 1 year later and nothing has changed for me. I've added a Cruwear PM2 and a Cruwear BRK Wilderness Explorer to my stab...

As my signature says.... :D
A Military, Native, Chap, GB1/2, Police, Endura, Delica, and Dragonfly would be a good start!

Re: What do you want in a new Salt knife?
Facepalm.... can't believe I forgot to ask for a Catcherman. I would love one of these perhaps more than the Military option. The old MBS-26 FFG Catcherman model was a great knife with versatility from camp to kitchen. Not to mention you would be hard pressed to find another 5" bladed folding ...

Re: What do you want in a new Salt knife?
I'd like to see Salt variations of existing models...a Military would be an awesome start. This. A Semi-translucent Day Glow Neon Yellow G10 FFG LC200N Military Salt. FFG LC200N Endura, Endela, Delica, and Police LW Salts. A blacked out FFG LC200N Dragonfly Salt and Jester Salt. FFG LC200N Chap LW ...

I hope to see a Worker LW and Worker-fly in the near future. I love the Worker blade shape, but prefer the modern day bidirectional LW FRN handles.

Re: Native 5 with Compression Lock please!
I honestly don't think the comp lock worked on the Lil Native and I'm pretty certain it's not the best lock for the Native either. The backlock on the Native and Native LW are probably the best in the lineup (aside from the lack of a boye dent). I feel like Sal said that Eric worked on refining the ...

Through an exclusive collaboration with lionSTEEL, the Spyderco SpyOpera takes this sleek design to the next level by adding a fully accessible Trademark Round Hole™ and a p...

Re: Demand and Supply of New Salt Series Knives?
Hi Robis, Welcome to our forum. In my opinion, dishwashers are not good for blades because of the heat and the dishwasher soap. sal This is something that would be cool for Larrin to test. If he could run some blades of H1, LC200N, and other steels through some hot (highest setting) dishwasher cycl...

Re: Native 5: Signature Folder vs Lightweight ?
The G10 Natives are now linerless. That might be a misprint on Spyderco's website. I haven't seen any linerless S110V G10 Natives. Can anyone confirm that the S110V G10 Natives are now linerless with a photo of an actual knife? I used to have one with the liners and sold it, but I have been missing...

Re: Have Titanium and Micarta Handles Become Extinct?
I think part of it too is Spyderco sticking to their niche. They make amazing folders in G10 and FRN. The best in the game. Their FRN, especially the Seki stuff, is nothing short of revolutionary. There are so many other companies out there making Ti folders that it's hard to compete and the questio...

Re: Demand and Supply of New Salt Series Knives?
@ steelcity: Not cause I am a quite newly converted SE-fan (and I am), but generally: Don´t you think that especially on Steaks a shallow serrated knife might work better than PE? I think it is a preference thing. They certainly sell a lot of serrated edge steak knives, but I believe that's more a ...

Re: Have Titanium and Micarta Handles Become Extinct?
I would feel better about micarta's long term prospects if they would offer it on a regular production model. All of the micarta has been on sprints or exclusives as far as I can tell. Even with the IMMENSE popularity of the Cru Carta shaman, they didn't make the zwear/micarta regular production, j...

Re: Please Pardon the shameful sales pitch - Rock Jumper
It would be pretty cool if Spyderco offered the addition of dents and/or jimping as part of a spa service like Bark River Knives does to remove thumb ramps, add swedges, etc. I doubt they would be inundated with people mailing in knives asking for a dent, but it would be nice to have that option for...

Re: Please Pardon the shameful sales pitch - Rock Jumper
The Boye Dent does seem to help with indexing but it's not great looking. I forget to mention that I actually find the Boys dents asthetically appealing and like @kennethsime it bothers my OCD that my Natives (and my future Police LWs that I reluctantly plan on buying despite the lack of a dent) do...

Re: Have Titanium and Micarta Handles Become Extinct?
I think the issue is that Spyderco isn't going to sell that many $300 knives when compared with $100 knives. Sal & Spyderco are always trying to reduce costs so that they can put super steel into a working man's knife, and Titanium or Micarta handle scales quickly add to the cost of each knife....
