Wolfspyder
Spring is in the air and the woods are on my mind. Can't wait to reconnect with the forest and sharpen my skills. The Wolfspyder has proven to be a rather capable companion to my fixed blade...not to mention, it is beautiful!

Re: **** Enablers!!
Isn't that one of the reasons we all come here...to talk to other people who spend a crazy amount on knives? I had all the knives I needed about 5 years ago. Then the reasoning became, "well I do t have that steel yet". Then "I don't have a knife from that country". I'm in the ac...

Re: Help me build out my spydie wishlist
I would have to recommend the Cat in BD-1, if you don't HAVE to have jimping. Stellar little knife, and can be had for around $50. Not bad for a Taiwan Spyderco with American steel, in my opinion.

Re: Spyderco prototype... NOT
I said it was narrow-minded to not like any knife thats not a Spyderco. You have never seen this knife, felt it, operated it so how can you comment on it. Do you understand how counterfeits damage the economy and the reputations of otherwise quality companies? It doesn't matter how high quality you...

Re: Spyderco prototype... NOT
This has gotten pretty silly on 'the captain's' part. Captain, You couldn't find any info on it, so you reason it is a rare prototype? Then when someone tells you it's fake, you belittle them? I don't follow... When you find yourself in a hole and you want to get out, the first thing you should do i...

Re: Urban blade question
Mine did the same thing, but after a touch up sharpening with the flats of the fine Sharpmaker stone, is no longer an issue.
Hope this works out for you, good luck!

Re: Why isn't there a...?
Not sure the vent hole in the Harpy is really intended to be used as a shackle key, except in life or death emergency where damage to the knife is the lesser of two evils. I say the because I'm fairly certain that was the case with the similar vent hole in the Mariner. As TBD mentioned, the Tasman ...

Will someone PM me this sellers name, so I can monitor? This guys reaction makes me want to use my free time for a little "consumer justice". He apparently needs to be kept honest.

For you guys to judge someone over a single comment is pretty sad.But to question my character without ever meeting dealing with or talking to me is worse.I bought this knife on ebay and tried to get as much info as I could on it.you guys talk about China but some real Spydercos are coming out of c...

Why isn't there a...?
Harpy Salt or a Black blade Dragonfly 2? Especially the Harpy...from what I understand, it is a maritime blade with shackle key. Wouldn't it be cool if it was Ti and LC200N, like the SpydieChef?

Re: Taking apart knives - part 2
Today I see on Facebook a post from a Spyderco user in Europe. He attached a photo of an obviously used Delica posed on top of a set of tools. The blade is out of the handle. The pivot hole area is very dirty and probably corroded as are the bushings and the broken pivot pin. He said that the pivot...

Taking apart knives – part 2 I’d like to thank all of you for the great information on the issue mentioned. My primary purpose for the thread was more to raise awareness that it is a problem and hope that just the greater awareness would help contribute to reducing the problem. Many people didn’t e...
