Re: Para 3 Salt Lc200n
I've been one of those pesky UKPK fans that have been asking for a yellow LC200N model for a bit now. But I would still be happy to get a Para 3 LW in LC200N as I wait. :)

Re: 2019 Knife Plans
Very much interested in the FRN Caly 3.5 and the FRN Sage. Also, will be eager to see if another UKPK will be released a new steel - I'd like to see yellow FRN and LC200N.

Re: Spyderco Caly: I admit it, The Caly is superb.
Although I do enjoy rotating my EDC with other models, the Caly design is my favorite. The aesthetics are near perfect, the wire clip has me spoiled, and it feels fantastic in my hand. I'm very interested in the FRN Caly 3.5 that is coming. Ideally, I would like it to be produced in Taiwan or the U....

A UKPK with a compression lock.
Before I get yelled at - yes, I want an American-made Caly 3. :D

Caly 3, UKPK, and Caly 3.5. Sal's design feels like it was meant for my hand.
I just got my Caly Jr. in SB and it feels nice. Going to have to carry it for a while.

Re: Sage 2 Farewell
I'll raise my glass to the Sage 2. :)
I remember it was my gift to myself for earning my master's degree. So clean and functional. The only improvement I could think of is the addition of a steel insert for over-travel and lock interface.

Re: Uk Penknife Maxamet?
I need more UKPKs in super steels You and me both...and everyone else in this thread! Amen! I love my S110V UKPK and would like to see the model updated with other steels. Perhaps we can start with M390, M4, or XHP? Personally, I'd love to see a salt version with yellow FRN and an LC200N blade. ;)

Re: New fixed blade - need help
I would definitely consider this, Sal. I've been waiting for a Spyderco fixed blade that offered a design like the Mule at a more affordable price point (compared to the Bradley designs). The length and round handle sounds very nice. Do you have any idea what steels would most likely be chosen for t...

Re: More K390?
A UKPK in K390 sounds good to me. :D Drop point please. Do you think if we keep mentioning it we might get a UKPK in 51200, or Maxamet or K390 or something? To me a US steel would make sense for a US model. Leaf, for me - but my favorite model is the Caly 3. I do agree that it makes sense to see mo...

Re: January Spyderbite Discussion
I'm very interested in the new Clip It tools but just cannot justify a purchase of 8cr13mov. I've just had bad luck with it, it's pretty humid here in Houston, and would prefer something with a bit more corrosion resistance. Is BD1 a possibility down the road? Otherwise, the design looks excellent a...

Re: Chaparral Lightweight - thoughts and pics
Excellent review. I just received mine recently and have the exact same feelings. The only knock on the knife is the disengagement of the lock as that bar digs into the finger more deeply than other Spyderco lockbacks I own - I'm sure it's a combination of the width of the bar and the strength of th...

Re: Salt Series UKPK
I'm a big fan of my UKPK in S110V. I'd like to see another lightweight in yellow FRN with LC200N steel. And to echo others again, I'd like to see additional high end steels used in the blade with different color handles. My favorite design is the Caly, as I've often said, so I'll likely always be ca...

Re: Sal's Casual Bombshell Thread
Ok, so glad I checked in to this thread. FRN Chaparral incoming and an FRN Caly 3.5 being considered?!
Thank you, Sal and Co.! Both are day one purchases for me - and I am praying to see the FRN Caly 3.5 become a reality. :D

Count me in for a yellow UKPK with LC200N. I'd like to see more UKPK variants (XHP, K390, M4, Maxamet, etc.).

Re: UKPK - Absolute perfection for me
Although I am more inclined to say the Caly 3 is the perfect knife, I am a big fan of my UKPK S110V. I'd love to see Spyderco to continue to offer the UKPK in super steels (Maxamet, M390, XHP, etc). I know I'd definitely buy one of each.

Am I crazy, or did the model that Eric displayed in the Blade HQ video have a fish scale pattern?

Re: Sal what are the longterm Caly plans?
+1 for the Caly. :) The Caly 3 and Caly 3.5 are my favorite Spyderco models, period. I was really sad to see the 3.5 in VG10 phase out. I sincerely hope that Sal and Co. can find a way to improve things with the maker in Seki and get QC where it is desired. I am curious about something, however. If ...
