Flash Batches

The C221GWH (Lil’ Nilakka) was Spyderco’s first flash batch product. Additionally, the C250GTI (Burch Bombshell) was another flash batch. Other than these two, are there any other folding knife flash batches?

Re: A good day for getting cool stuff

Since we’re discussing Calypsos with ZDP and CF, might as well as look at the originals: C113CFPE Caly 3 (on the left in the photos) and C144CFPE Caly 3.5 (on the right).

Re: Orange/Black Autonomy 1's discontinued?

Spyderco has always taken an extremely conservative and literal interpretation of the U.S. 1958 Federal Switchblade Act. That Act expressly prohibits the introduction, or manufacture for introduction, into interstate commerce of switchblade knives, and for other purposes. “Interstate commerce” means...

Looking for Searchable List of Discontinued Models by Model Number

Does anyone know of a reference source that would provide a full list of discontinued models that would be searchable by model number (not name)? Thanks!

Any ideas what that slot on the showside of the handle might be for? Perhaps it should make cleaning the knife easier? (Don't think it's there for weight reduction)
It’s a drying slot as well as a means to clean the knife.

Is that a big ole' space/gap Under the lock bar, but above the handle?

Is that a feature? a flaw? just how they were/are?

Thanks for sharing. Looks awesome.
Which steel is it?
This is such an early Spyderco model that steel type was not marked on the blade.

Re: Heinnie Haynes G10 S90v Urban

Got mine today from a CC member on eBay…faster shipping and a cheaper price than buying from HH. Fit and finish quality is not as good as the HH Spyderco UKPK including the G10 texture of the scales which is way poorer on the Urban compared to the HH UKPK.
