2018 was the year of spyderco. I got a couple new ones, an endura and para 3. I was about 50/50 carrying ZT/spyderco a few years ago and my ZT's have been collecting dust last year. Don't know what 2019 will bring, hopefully an Amalgam and Smock....

I read somewhere in this forum that it was hopefully the end of the year. Don't remember where I saw that.

Both Para 3's have released on the cutlery shoppe website, ordered a black/orange one

I think the Delica/Endura have a more timeless design and a broader appeal. With the back lock they appeal to a broad segment of the population then you factor in the fit/finish and price point and for most people that is as high end of a knife as they want to get. I usually don't like smaller knives as much but I have been waiting for the orange and black combo since I missed the PM2. I usually carry a Delica around the house in gym shorts or sweats because it is so small, this might be replacing that. We'll see.

I wipe mine off with oily rags that I use to clean my guns, old t-shirt and gun oil does the trick for me.

Seax knife, take a Military or Manix XL sized knife and make a Viking worthy folder. I'm not artsy but I'm sure someone could design something cool around that.

I always like camo, the camo blades that ZT and some strider knives have done are very cool looking. I also like anything Tiger Stripe. I wouldn't buy a knife for the purposes of an investment. Now if you have to sell some down the road or downsize your collection sure, some of them could probably get a small return on or get most of your money back.
