Re: Rethinking handguns

I'm a huge fan of the .357 Magnum due to its versatility in ammunition choice (.38 Special, .38 +P, .357 Magnum) and its reliability as a revolver.

Re: Rough few weeks

Sorry to hear of your loss. I've found remembering and celebrating lost loved ones on their day of passing and on their birthday, along with a shot of the beverage of your choice, as a means of coping. Making a positive of a negative is, for me, the best way to move on. I feel it's important to reme...

Re: Batteries For Flashlights And Other Toys?

My SureFire 6P gets fed the standard SureFire 123A. My MaxLites get fed standard Duracell batteries. And, my Dewalt flashlights get fed Dewalt 18V and 20V MAX rechargeable lithium ion batteries. All of my other "toys" are feasting on standard Duracells or rechargeable lithium ion batteries...

Re: New member

Welcome, Kris! When I was stationed in Panama (been to the Philippines as well), the Spyderco Delica SE with black Zytel/FRN scales and integral pocket clip was one of the few :spyder: s available at the base exchange, but it certainly was a good one to have. The Spyderco Manix is a favorite of mine...

Re: What is wrong with Spyderco customer service?

@Water Bug, thanks for the suggetion. I am not military personnel, but I will do what you suggested with my local post office. I am tracking the parcel. It is with USPS. Hopefully, it will be shown which local post service it will be delivered before coming here, so I can go and ask them to direct ...

Re: What is wrong with Spyderco customer service?

I don't know if the OP is overseas U.S. military, but every time I moved due to meeting the needs of the military, I'd go to the Postal Service Center on base, fill out a U.S. Postal Service Change of Address Form, and everything arriving at that Postal Service Center after I left would be forwarded...

Re: A few sharpmaker questions

I used to have issues using the flat sides of the Spyderco Tri-Angle Stones as "Part 2" of the sharpening sequence, especially with the Fine White Stones. What I found for me, personally, was that I needed to be more careful in ensuring a straight up-and-down vertical positioning of the kn...

Re: What watch you're wearing?

I have a TAG Heuer Carrera Chronograph Automatic and have been wearing it for over ten years. It replaced a Wakmann Incabloc Chronograph that I wore for over 35 years... and, although some of the dials on the Wakmann are out of whack, the watch itself still works and serves as a back-up to my TAG He...

Re: Why did you join?

I joined because I appreciate the beauty, practicality, and functionality of Spyderco knives. I joined because I've learned a lot from reading members' experiences with Spyderco products. And, when I was looking for a Spyderco knife for a specific need (such as outdoor/field/camping use), a search o...

Re: Backlock placement

I've always been a fan of back lock folding knives, and the Buck 110 Folding Hunter remains a favorite of mine as well as an EDC. Personally, I really don't have a preference on where the locking mechanism is placed on the knifes as both mid-lock and rear-lock set-ups work fine for me.

Re: Country knives

Country Knives IS legit! :) Brian and his crew are great to work with and have quality products, especially those older and/or harder to find items. I've done business with them for years, and they've been very helpful to me in finding ways to get old, vintage pocket knives restored. They're prices ...

Your Spyderco New Year's Eve And New Year's Day EDC

Happy New Year, Y'all!!! :) It's time to pick your Spyderco knife to celebrate the New Year. So, what :spyder: are you EDCing on New Year's Eve And New Year's Day? My Spyderco CTS 204P Military is still in rotation this week, so that's what I'm EDCing on these days. Along with my CTS 204P Military, ...
