Re: Spydiechef CQI??
This is a good thread! Not knowing anything from nothing, I just happened to pick up a Chef at the end of April when they were briefly available. Later, after they were gone again, I learned about the ceramic detent and was a bit regretful I didn’t wait a bit longer (maybe a tiny bit regretful, as I...

Re: What did you use your Spyderco for last?
Personal validation. No, seriously. On any given day I may or may not do much cutting. Regardless, it’s always a good feeling to reach into my pocket and pull out a quality blade, even it only to admire it for a few seconds. Had a moment like that just as I came home today. The last thing I used my ...

Re: Rhino Reports
I’ll jump in to say that I love my Rhino. I bought it on impulse and it’s become one of my most carred knives over the last w 2 months. It took about 2 weeks to break in but now it flips and closes great. I used the heck out of it during a large woodworking project. It’s great for detail cutting. I ...

Re: I Like Me Some XHP
Yup. Love it. I used the crap out of my Rhino a few weeks ago. It held up great and was easy to get screamin sharp when I was done.
I also have a Hungarian, but it hasn’t seen as much use.

Re: Reinhold Rhino Update
This post is for Michael and Sal (I know at least Michael is following this thread). I just wanted to jump in and express how pleased I am with the Rhino. The design is endearing, and the large belly allows the short blade to act larger than it is. The execution is spot on from a fit & finish pe...

Re: Reinhold Rhino Update
I can confirm that the standard Benchmade clip pattern will work. However, the Rhino’s screws are slightly smaller in diameter than Benchmade.

Re: Southard blade centering
I'm a big lurker; this is my first post. I found that if my Southard's pivot is loose, centering will drift to the side. I suggest you check your pivot screws to see if they are loose. If so, add blue LocTite sparingly and tighten just to the point your blade is centered and no more. Flip once or tw...
