DLT PM2 20CV was my first priority since they both dropped at the same time. I might of picked up a Shaman if there were any left... Maybe... Still incredible they both sold out so fast. 2019 looks to be another hot year for sprints and exclusives.

When did the 20CV Shaman drop? EDIT: Never mind, you're talking about the BHQ M4 Shaman and I was thinking 20CV Manix.

Lil Native comp lock is in my regular EDC rotation and sees frequent use. A comp lock sprint/exclusive would be a no-brainer purchase.

Kevin Smock licensed the compression lock from Spyderco. Would Spyderco have to license the "button" from Smock? Otherwise I agree, it would be great to see the button lock again on a different model.

After a lot of looking I decided I'm happy with the Spydercos I have currently. The Paul Alexander Ikuchi is what I'm looking forward to next. So I picked up a Wicked Edge WE100. 15% off made it a good price.

Hopefully with the Smock setting the new standard for detent in a Spyderco flipper, the Ikuchi will be great as well. I love the design of the Sliverax but the detent for flipping is weak at best.

To me, it feels like this knife was designed around the button-comp lock and flipper tab more so than the hands of the end user.

I feel this is the key point of your review and agree that the needle points a bit more towards form rather than function. Still an interesting design.
