Re: V-TOKU2 endura and hap40 wharncliffe delica have dropped!
Hap40 Wharnie will be in my mailbox tomorrow from White Mtn Knives. I'm about 80% sure I'll be putting the Wharn hap40 blade on my Pakkawood frame.

Para 3 BHQ on the bay
I remember a recent thread but thought about posting this anyway. Looks like the HQ Para 3 in M4 shouldn't be much further out hence I saw one on the way earlier today while searching for a S90v model. Who all here has to get their hands on one of these?

Patina removal assistance
Made a post a few months back about my PM2 52100 and adding forced patina. Well I did and I don't like it. Not much on modifying my knives other than clip here or there but I soaked the partially serrated blade from the tip to the end of the edge in apple cider vinegar for 40 mins. My question is ca...

Re: Spyderco Forum Name Tag - Available for Pre-Order
I thought these were for Blade Show attendees only. I've been too busy lately to see the finer details. I guess I'll turn I'm my 2 weeks notice today then!

Agreed this isn't something to joke about :D
This was the one that got away from me the first time. Any timeline. I was a few weeks away from swapping a DLT OD green scales to my Blade HQ M4. Now I'm gonna wait.

Re: No Love for the Shaman?
Its the edge length that is holding me back. With it only at approx 3" for the relationship to the handle im stuck. Either i want a sub 3" or a 3.70"+ plus blade. Everyone has different tastes but if you slap a Cruwear or s110v in there im going to roll over like a baby for a diaper c...

Re: Spyderco for Whittling?
I used my PM2 in s110v yesterday on some cedar sticks. That s110v is super hard and still cut the cedar like a champ. You looking into real whittling or serious wooden spoon makin..

The tenacious is the core of Spyderco models. You can't beat this model with liner lock for the money. All the colors and various for around $50. What more do you want?

Re: Paramilitary 2 Aftermarket Scales Experiences?
I saw a post on ebay for some Para 3's that had been swapped from BBS blue to a serrated edge. Guy said he sent the Para's back to Spyderco to have this done. Not wanting to highjack the thread but is this something Spyderco does for customers? This might be something you should consider hence i wou...

Schempp Rock sheath..
Sold my Bradley Bowie to get a more "woods" focused knife. The Schempp rock that has been discontinued a few years back serves a great new role in a intermediate length for carry and small processing. HOWEVER, the sheath rattles like ****. Wondering if Sheath Pro made this one for Spyderco...

Re: Which is your most useful and most used Spyderco?
Most useful is probably my Delica wharnie. My most used and carried has to be my Manix XL for everything outdoors and garden related to harvesting. Also use it as a extended chopper to gut poison ivy on all the hardwoods in my backyard.

Hi Anduril, Welcome to our forum. All things in moderation. sal Yes yes you have told me that same statement before Mr Sal Glessner! But you and Eric are the enablers! JK. If literally the only bad habit I have is "worrying" about what is my next knife buy then I'm setting pretty.

Re: Para 3 Maxamet
Got mine today and it's my first Para 3. WOW! the size is absolutely perfect. Swore I would never buy a Para 3. Man was I wrong. Delicas are all back in the safe. The MGX clip makes this knife though. The Maxamet was so **** sharp I already cut myself.!

Since I posted this thread it developed to 3 full pages. Nice to see all the commentary. In the meantime I received my Para 3 today and it really is all that everyone says! All I can say is that my Delicas may be taking a backseat for a while. WOW! WOW! Dang Maxamet is supersharp also. Got my own bl...

Re: Migration to smaller knives....didn't realize
Someone had posted this comment here a few months ago regarding the movement to smaller knives for general use and EDC. I believe that is definitely happening. Several years ago I was a ZT guy and lugged around 6.4 ozs everyday. I came back around to Spyderco and that is all I have but it isn't jus...

Re: Migration to smaller knives....didn't realize
I agree with you on your comments completely. I also boast 4+ Manix XLs and 8 PM2s in my inventory. At work is where I tend to sport the smaller blades as well.
