Forumite Oregon asked if we had a dedicated bottle opener in the "Harp" thread, and I thought this was a great idea to have on our keychains. Alot of company's have product specific bottle openers, snap-on has the wrench looking one, ive seen scuba shops with shark themed ones etc.... May ...

I recently purchased a knife for my Son ( 6 years old). It wasnt a spyderco though. As much as I wanted to get him an FRN D'Fly or Ladybug (which IMHO are excelent knives for smaller handed operators), I opted for an $11.00 SAK. At his age, having a tiny 1.5 inch blade a pair of tweezers to snatch u...

Im kinda olod school, but I like my Red Wings. Full Leather, with a Composite Safety Toe (to keep it light weight). They replace your laces free for Life and any time id ever had a problem with my boot, they replaced it or fixed it for free too. Also, they have custom fitting boots if you wanna sit ...

I say get the digi-para s30v. I have both the BG-42 Millie and the D2 para and my para is my EDC without question. My millie is still the best blade i have, but in terms of use, my para's dimensions coupled with the awesome D2 blade is a perfect combo for me. Easy to touch up back to razor sharp whe...

I think they will honor the warranty, provided it IS a warranty issue. Read the warranty section on the main site page. What "Swedge" are you refering to? Im just curious. So you didnt see any wiping of the dry erase mark that you placed on the blade? If you coated the entire blade and it ...

Hm. This does not sound good. I have read other posts on here describing similar problems. One problem with the Native is that it cannot be taken apart. Let me do the dry erase test. You may just have one that has a problem, in which case, Customer Service can definately help you. You can find the ...

You can also use a dry erase marker-no need to mess around with solvents to take it off.
Good point :D

Yeah, I only used some very cheap Minearal oil on my Pacific Salt once. Really unecessary though. Usually, I just take my EDC knife, PARA, apart and wipe the grime it gets between the washers. No oil, just a good cleaning. Then its buttery smooth once more. I dont own a Native, so am unsure about th...

(the following advice should be taken with a grain of salt and caution)

If you color your blade with some Sharpie, you can determine if it is hitting the scales where the sharpie rubs off. You can remove sharpie with some acetone or laquer thinner or alcohol when test is done.
