Yeah, I only used some very cheap Minearal oil on my Pacific Salt once. Really unecessary though. Usually, I just take my EDC knife, PARA, apart and wipe the grime it gets between the washers. No oil, just a good cleaning. Then its buttery smooth once more. I dont own a Native, so am unsure about th...

If you color your blade with some Sharpie, you can determine if it is hitting the scales where the sharpie rubs off. You can remove sharpie with some acetone or laquer thinner or alcohol when test is done.
