The H1 in the Pacific Salt is better suited for the all time seawater exposure. The lc200n on the Native is still a martensitic steel and therefore still endangered to rust, tho he is more rustproof then many other steels. So plus 1 for the Pacific Salt.

I could handle the Waterway on the Amsterdam Meeting. This is exactly what i wanted. I fish in Norway from time to time and i always wanted a good finger guard, slim blade, no sharpening choil, great corrosion resistant steel AND made from spyderco. Very good job Surfingringo!

Spyderco offers a range of steels other companies don't. It's hard for me to say a Cruwear, Hap 40, or Maxamet knife is over priced when hardly anyone or no one else is making them. What knives do I compare those to? For example if anyone is desperate for a Cruwear flipper BHQ has some for $700, KW...
