My trusty user PM2 in S30V and DLC coating, which still hasn't even gained a scratch in the 3 years I've had it. Can't say the same about the screws :spyder:

Re: Centering the blade of a PM2
Yeah, that's where I'm at, idk what could have happened to cause this issue 2 runs (maybe more?) in a row. Sometimes mine is so bad that it scrapes the scales on the clip side and that's beyond cosmetic. That's a serious issue in my book.... I'm not even sure what to do with it. I've taken it apart...

Re: What Spyderco is in your pocket today??
Para 3 with Maxemet blade steel. A real slicer for sure. Then a base model PM2 in DLC'd S30V. Ya know, so my Maxemet Para 3 doesn't get messed up lol :spyder:

Re: Centering the blade of a PM2
So I was just looking at my pm2 maxamet, which was from the run before this one. My blade is slightly warped but its hard to notice and I can live with it. But my knife also had the worst looking edge bevel (on the show side) of any spyderco I have received. Of the few stonewashed spydies I have, m...

Re: Centering the blade of a PM2
In my experience it's been the body screw that effects centering the most. The first run of Maxamet PM2s had an obvious warp to it. I have one of them... Are you sure it's a centering issue and not a warped blade? The Maxamet PM2 has been seen with warped blades in the past. Yup... It's warped alri...

Centering the blade of a PM2
I know this has probably been addressed multiple times but one of my PM2's (my Maxemet variation) blades is very noticeably off center and I've watched youtube video after video explaining different techniques to center the blade on a PM2 specifically and I just cannot get the durn thing centered fo...

Re: What "Other" is in your pocket???
Knife-wise I carry strictly Spyderco so that question is N/A in my circumstsnces but one "Other Other" thing that's always in that tiny little pocket in the right hand pocket of my jeans is my Suorin Air liquid vaporizer. Just like a Spydie, I don't (can't) go anywhere without it. Also, li...

Re: Lc200N PM2 and Para 3
It's certainly been covered. But not enough. I'd snatch up an lc200n para 3 in g10 or frn in an instant. As for pm2, I think the caribbean sorta covers that size range, but I suppose if the para 3 got a salt (at least the g10 model) then the pm2 would likely follow. ... I’m not opposed to a Para 3 ...

Re: Lc200N PM2 and Para 3
I concur with bdblue in that it would be cool if each of the most popular Spyderco models (PM2, Para 3, Delica, etc) had maybe even 3 or 4 production configurations. I realize that this would be a logistical nightmare but one can dream right? Although, if it was up to me it'd be S35VN/G10 (DLC or no...

Re: What Spyderco is in your pocket today??
Today I carried my PM2 with Maxemet blade steel. I almost felt like I had a light saber on me. It can cut through anything. :spyder:

Lc200N PM2 and Para 3
I apologize if this topic has been covered, I've been out of the Spyderco loop for a little while but I'm back and I plan on making up for lost time. Anyway, a while back I heard rumblings of a possible PM2 and maybe even a Para 3 with Lc200N as the blade steel. IMO this would be the ultimate combo ...

CF/S90V here. Whether it fits the knife or not, it's my preferred handle material and steel. That said, CF/S90V would probably put the price close to $300.

Re: S30V Only Cool if it's a Benchmade?
Yeah, definitely spoiled. And I'm guilty of this. S30V would be just fine for me on a daily basis but for the sole reason that Spyderco offers so many steel variations, I've become this steel snob that looks down on S30V. I'm not complaining but it's a thing.
