Re: paramilitary 3

Finally got my first PM3. Together with my s110v Native 5, it has the honor to be the smallest knife in my collection :) https://photos.smugmug.com/Picture-a-Week/2018/08272018/i-8gNrVW8/0/97f28bb7/X2/_DSC7788%20-1-X2.jpg Roland. They're great little knives. I find myself buying a new version every...

Re: Would you buy more or less Spydercos if they were all made in the same steel?

I would most likely buy the same amount. While I am a bit of a steel junkie (most of my knives are duplicates with different steel variations), if it wasn't the steel, I'd find something else to collect. Whether it be blade shape, lock type, scale color/design or some other aspect. I do collect base...

Re: My new Spyderco PM2 Limited Edition

Excuse my lack of knowledge but I'm not aware of this LE PM2. What is the blade steel and where did you get it? I'm sure they're not available still but my curiosity is piqued. Edit: I guess it would help if I read your whole caption  . I thought it was a DLC blade with brown G10. But it's...

I just received this in the mail yesterday. I love it. I was carrying a PM2 in s30v but this little guy has taken it's place until further notice. :spyder:

Re: Spyderco Paramilitary 2 Lets hear from the owners.

There's nothing I can say that hasn't already been said. It's, imo, part of the best knife family ever created (Military, PM2, Para3). If you're thinking about getting one, stop thinking and just do it. The only downside is that it might poke a hole in your bank account. :spyder:

Re: Para 3 exclusive at River's Edge Cutlery

Are you sure they are selling? There are lots of people asking crazy prices for knives on there. If so that is just nuts! yep, two sold for around $400. One was $399.95 PLUS shipping...LOL. Dude had to make sure he got that extra $3.75 shipping because the $250+ markup wasn't enough. Wow that...

Custom shop already exists ... for distributors.
This. I wonder what kind of rules, if any, there are for distributors when they want to get an exclusive run.

Re: Para 3 exclusive at River's Edge Cutlery

Yep, 500 pieces total run, is what I read. I didn't think they did sprint runs that small, or exclusives. Thought minimums were 800-1200 with an option for another batch of the same size. That's almost as low as the cpm154/s90v composite PM2. Yeah, I don't know exact details but it was an extremely...

Re: Happy National Knife Day!! (USA)

At work today I carried my black PM2 with DLC blade in s30v. Tonight, I'm going out with family and I'll have my Para 3 in CTS 204p.

This morning I ordered the blurple s110v Para 3 to celebrate National Knife Day. Very excited to carry that one when it arrives.

Re: Can you find the Spyderco knife in the Walmart display?

When I purchased both the Resilience and Tenacious at my local Wal-Mart they were in the normal Spyderco boxes behind the knife display counter. The Wal-Mart associate had no idea what a Spyderco was and it took me describing the logo and spelling it out for him to find the box.

Re: Para 3 exclusive at River's Edge Cutlery

I don't know exactly but after reading some posts on REC's Instagram and talking to a few people in the know it sounds like the first run was around 300 and the second run was around 200. I was also lucky enough to grab one before they sold out. It's definitely the nicest blade in my collection. :sp...

Re: You ever buy a new Spyderco for an upcoming project?

Not really a project but I got a job where I'd be opening a lot of boxes throughout the day so naturally I needed a Para 3 because my PM2 was just too big. :D Also I'm not married so I was justifying it to myself.

Re: Persistence vs. Tenacious

I have a Tenacious. It was my first Spyderco knife and it kick started my love for this brand of knives. It is a perfect size for my hand (size large gloves) and the shape of the blade and cutting edge is exactly what I need in a blade. My only complaint is the 8cr13mov steel will begin to corrode v...

:spyder: My Spyderco/PM2 " discovery" isn't super interesting but I'll tell ya anyway. :spyder: I've always had a knife of some sort on my person or in my car. I had known about Spyderco for a few years because I'm a firearm enthusiast and I had heard mainly about the Delica and the Endura...
