Re: Bradley 2, safety

Never an issues, I actually appreciate that there is very little to no wasted handle space. The GB2 is a favorite of mine, and such a supreme slicer.

Re: Never Let Your Girl Use Your Knife

My wife uses my knives all the time without issue, she's not a knife nut and has never managed to muck one up, then again I maintain mine well and they don't have loose screws, which to be fair, could have easily fallen out when you yourself were using it. the lock spring looks like a little metal h...

Re: Lc200n Manix 2 LW Interest Poll

I like the idea if the CBBL can be made completely rust proof, OR if the rivets are replaced with screw together construction.

And if its FRN in lieu of FRCP, so it can be dyed. :P

Re: s110v vs. m390 corrosion resistance

I haven’t actually tested m390 but between 204p and s110v I find s110v to show notably better corrosion resistance under extreme conditions. That said, both steels are very high up the list in corrosion resistance and unless you are subjecting them to hours of saltwater use on a daily basis then bo...

Re: s110v vs. m390 corrosion resistance

I have several knives in M390, both spyderco and other brands. Live in the pacific northwest where it rains alot, and I've never had M390 spot, and thats being ran dry 90% of the time. I would say M390 corrosion resistance is "good enough" unless you live/work on the water, the great salt ...

Re: What would YOU pick for the next sprint?

Citadel 92mm, bumped up to 101mm because why not.
M390
Titanium scales
Stonewashed blade
Smaller spydie hole like we find on Spyderco fixed blades and flippers.
Full flat grind.
Plain edge.

Re: New fixed blade - need help

I would love to see some Fixed blades in say, something like XHP, S30V or even BD1N, 6"-7" blade or so, in the 100-150$ price range, seems to be a real gap here in the spyderco lineup, I am sure there is justification of the price tag on the spyderco fixed blades, but for me as an end user...

Re: Your Two Favorite Locks

Compression and RIL here.

Backlocks and slipjoints... remind me too much of my grandpa's old-timers. Even though I own several Spyderco backlocks, and admire their reliability, I ultimately find them boring. Unpopular opinion, I know!

Great knife. I love mine, with the caveat that I had to dye it, just not a fan of yellow. It's now red. Pretty impressed with Lc200n. a keeper for sure.

Re: FRN Scales

My biggest gripe with full FRN lockback knives like the Delica and Endura is the fit and finish between the scales and the backspacer, its hit or miss, but for example on my just acquired Vtoku-2 Endura, its not very clean at all, there is essentially, a little bit of flashing left from the molding ...

Tenacious and Co. - Taichung run?

Hey Sal & All. Some guys on Facebook were tossing around the idea of upgrades to the Tenacious, Resilience etc. And I got to thinking, I feel that line of knives, and especially the Tenacious and Resilience - would do phenomenally out of the taichung plant in CTS XHP, peel ply CF, and their esta...
