Don't know how I missed this thread. I'd be all over that - in FRN, no wave, and on the Salt handle - both large and small. The Centofante 4 has the perfect Wharnie blade shape. I'd like it a bit thicker, like the salts. Yes, I did this... http://i945.photobucket.com/albums/ad297/billy-jazz/P6160052...

The fine tip works great for the Millie because it's a thicker blade. My problem is with the FFG on the Delicas, etc. that are thinner. They really should be a high flat grind, not full. Now, don't say, "well, don't pry with them" - I don't, but it really could be made a bit stronger witho...

Here's my most used Spydie - cardboard certainly is abrasive. I like how it looks all scratched up... http://i945.photobucket.com/albums/ad297/billy-jazz/P6200055.jpg Maybe I should polish it and experiment with that theory. This is definately the knife to do it with and find out for sure. - best wi...

When you glue scales on, I think it's best to rough up the underside of the scale and the surface it's to be glued to with rough sandpaper or something so it has more to bond to. Just what I've learned, and you asked for a tip. :)

Well, I'd say it worked bloody nicely! Nice pics. I love the worn look of your clip - goes very nicely with the camo and black blade. Thanks for sharing.

Here's what I did to mine, if this helps any. It would also be great shorter - more like the Urban Wharnie, so I say do it. Very easy to do yourself. http://i945.photobucket.com/albums/ad297/billy-jazz/P6290007.jpg Good luck. Also, if the tip protrudes above the handle when closed, just grind down t...

Jazz, How is the tip on that wharnied Atlantic? I bought one with the idea in mind to mod it to a Wharncliffe as well. Thought about asking Mr. Krein to FFG it but i fear the tip would then be too delicate for anything but SD penetration type uses. Also, do you have a picture of the knife closed? T...
