Hope your finger heals up completely and soon, Axlis. I actually had someone else slam a van door across the four fingers of my right hand. This was many years ago when a colleague was offering me and another guy a ride. They had me get into the back of the van. I had to step up into the van and not...

I buy a multitool for practicality of the tools included in it and its design. Although a high-quality steel would be desirable for the knife, for me it's not a requirement. For example, the Skeletool CX has a blade made of 154CM, but I prefer the all-metal construction and PE knife of the Skeletool...

Now for the "gun nut" stuff....... (btw, it's "nuts", not "nits"...now, try to say THAT three times fast.... :D ) Perhaps this being a Spyderco forum, he though "nits" and "bugs" would go good together. :D Ron, sorry to hear of your loss. At least y...

Welcome to the forum, Tukutela! Either knife would be a good choice, although I think the Delica is would be a practical "next step" in your :spyder: collection.

Chalk it up as a war score (i.e., "battle scar"). It's still a very functional knife... it only needed a bit of tweeking. :) Good job!

Working On My Second SpyderPac!!!

When I received my Large SpyderPac from the Spyderco Online Store in March of this year and started loading my :spyder: s into it, I knew right there and then that I'd made a wise investment. :) Recently, I placed my first :spyder: (a new Civilian G-10 from SOS) into my SECOND Large SpyderPac!...

Although I wish I could, I can't freehand sharpen a knife on standard stones. If it weren't for the Sharpmaker, I'd have a hard time keeping my knives sharp. I've watched employees at large sporting goods stores sharpening people's knives on the grinding wheels they have set up at their knife sectio...

Sounds like pretty good news when the doctor simply looks at your hand, says, "Start using it..." and moves on from there. :) Yeah, even if it hurts, do as the physical therapist says. The more you use the hand, the sooner it'll get back to normal. But, don't over do it, either. It is poss...
