I buy a multitool for practicality of the tools included in it and its design. Although a high-quality steel would be desirable for the knife, for me it's not a requirement. For example, the Skeletool CX has a blade made of 154CM, but I prefer the all-metal construction and PE knife of the Skeletool...

All of my :spyder: s are purchased with the idea of possibility getting used. Only a select few have actually seen pocket time, but I'm working on that. :)

Welcome to the forum, Tukutela! Either knife would be a good choice, although I think the Delica is would be a practical "next step" in your :spyder: collection.

Knife: Military PE (or Manix PE)

Multitool: Leatherman Super Tool 200 (or Leatherman Surge)

Flashlight: SureFire 6P (or Mini Maglite)

Chalk it up as a war score (i.e., "battle scar"). It's still a very functional knife... it only needed a bit of tweeking. :) Good job!
