I EDC my blue G-10 BladeForums Native.

But I have 2 of them so the other sits in the display cabinet, completely unused.

Not stolen but a great deal from a few years ago - a NIB "R" PE and a NIB blue G-10 BladeForums Native PE as a package deal for $140. I doubt you'ld see a package like that for that price now.

I've had a Grohmann, D.H. Russell Belt Knife with a carbon steel blade for over 40 years. It's never had anything but plain old oil applied to it - honing oil, motor oil, whatever was handy. It has developed a patina over the years but never any significant rust. As dsvirsky suggests above, a wipe d...

Nice piece, but to most it isn't a Spyderco. As Paul points out RAMCO is on the knife but no Spyderco anywhere. I might agree that to "some" it isn't a Spyderco - I don't know if "most" feel that way. I know this has been discussed before, but it does seem that Sal feels it is a...

I have a few knives that I was given as gifts that have thumb studs for opening. Once in a while I take them out, try opening the blade, and put them back away. The round hole is just much, much more comfortable and efficient for me. If they weren't gifts that I feel I have to keep, I probably would...

For some reason 60 just sounds like old to me - at least it's (somewhat) older than I feel

IMO I do not think Spyderco should make a 2010 forum knife. They made a wicked one for EDCf recently and in the future I think it would be best to have one forum knife a year. My personal opinion - I disagree! This is the Spyderco Forum - if there is going to be any Forum Knife I feel it should be ...

My favorite knife is the blue G-10 BladeForums Native PE. I have 2 - one is my EDC the other sits in my display case untouched.

My most prized knife is a Spyderco Ramco Laguiole. It came from Sals office stash. Long story how I got it but that's what makes it special.

I cross the Canada/US border regularly since I live in Canada in a border city. If asked, I always answer "no weapons" to the question. My pocket knives are "tools" so I'm not lying. A knife doesn't become a weapon unless used as one (or unless you tell the Custom agent that you ...

I voted "No" Sorry, but for many of us, Golden Colorado is as foreign as the location of any of Spyderco's other manufacturers' locations. A Forum Knife is a sentimental keepsake, being made in Golden wouldn't make it moreso to me. Paul's comment about the flexibility of Golden to make sma...
