Well, I was hoping to see if there was anyone with first hand knowledge. I figure a SAK should be okay, but I'd rather be safe than sorry.

A 4 way emory board will work as well and they are under $2. I have polished several sets and it always helps smooth things out a bit with pivot action.

I don't think you want to pry with the tab that opens the knife. You risk bending it.
