Yes it's very easy to open, very smooth and it carries well, it's light and the wire clip lets it sit low.

A friend gave me a few knife magazines yesterday, one of them was a Japanese magazine called Knife. It has an article on Seki Spydercos, unfortunately all the writing is in Japanese but there are some cool pics of the factory and knives.
