I'd still like to see some sprints done with the kitchen line of knives. Upgraded steels and handles and possibly a nice Spyderco block for storage/display.

My question, heat treatment? The Original GB came out perfect, but then the heat treat was adjusted. I hope this one is running some higher numbers!

I'm happy that there are so many members looking forward to this one. I check daily for myself and as gifts for others. Ted you may remember about six years ago I had a NIB KX01, I sent pictures, I kick myself daily for getting rid of that one. Not because of its collectibility but it's beauty.

This is one of the reasons I believe many would love a dedicated Spyderco block. I think a wood block with the Spyderco logo burned into the face of the block would be excellent! This would also open up the idea for future runs in more exotic steels and handles! Sal, I think this idea would take off...

How long until the new Santoku kitchen knife is released?

I've also been waiting on a new set from Spyderco. A couple forum members have commented recently that they saw some new kitchen knives at the SFO. So we should have these soon I would imagine.

Just wanted to bring this one back to the top. Sal any updates?
