The first question: I have a Caly 3 and a D4 and both have been my EDCs. The D4 for years and the Caly 3 for about 6 months. Both of the clips on these knives have stretched and lost alot of their tension. I just worry that they will fall out of my pocket, especially due to some close calls with th...

I have had one for quite a while and admit i dont use it for much, I have used the corkscrew and the screwdrivers occasionally though. None of the tools lock they are all held in place by tension of the frame. I think from a cool factor point of view and for the price its worth getting, but if you p...

Ok, so scrub the handle with a little bit of soap and water, scrub with toothbrush, allow to dry (this won't cause the metal to corrode on the Yo?), then spray WD40 on the handle? You should always treat any metal parts with some sort of oil to avoid rust. Just give it a good clean and then when yo...

A good clean with some spirits or even a dishwashing liquid will do the trick. Use a nail brush or toothbrush to get in the little grooves.

After a clean a quick shot of WD40 and a wipe down and your g10 will look like new

This was one i could hardly wait for. When i first saw the pictures a few years back, i placed my preorder. When i got the knife i was 100% satisfied, great little cutter, nice ergos, good lock upetc. Then after a week or 2 i just stopped carrying it and have never carried it since. I think the weig...

Szabofly question

Hello All,

I have read about the customs problems with the Szabofly and the resulting dissapearance from the market.

Does anyone have any idea how many where made? And any idea on what one would be worth?

Thanks in advance :)

Pimped Stretch

My stretch is one of my favourite :spyder: . The krayton inlay always bothered me, it caught on my pants when taking the knife out of my pocket and when putting the knife back. I have been making knives for just over a year and a half now and decided to use some of my recently acquired skills to mod...

If the WD 40 doesn't work. You might want to try buff the handle.

Not everyone has a buffer, but if you have a dremel type tool you can buy the little buffing wheels/ mandrels from most hardwares, try one of those

Well you have had a chat with him and he has apologized. Its easier to replace a knife than a friend. Like Spydutch said forgive and forget.

Look at the bright side at least he broke it in for you. Seeing as its used now you wont have any issues using it yourself.

To complicate this matter more. A hollow grind is achieved using contact wheels, these wheels come in a variety of diameters from large to small. You can use a larger wheel and get a very slight sloping grind or smaller wheels can give you a more rounded grind. You can have a fairly high hollow grin...
