... Another knife with a weak detent is my cruwear Manix 2 smooth g10. It opened in my pocket multiple times.
Is that the Manix with CBBL? It would be disappointing if the CBBL retention is weak too.

I once had a M4 military, which was a factory 2nd. The only flaw I found in it was that the detent ...

rklee, welcome to the fourm! Your journey to Spyderco is similar to mine. Not so sure you're older than me but we both call SF home and it doesn't get any better than that. Shoot me a PM if you ever want to talk knives. :)
Thanks for your welcome, neighbor holeshot!

Re: Location

I'm a San Francisco native and have lived here all my life (probably older than most here). I didn't get into knives until 2012, when I got a few Kershaws. Then in 2013 I bought my first Spyderco, a Persistence. That was the gateway drug. Then I went upscale with Dragonflies, Delicas, Stretch, Sage,...

Nice review. You put a lot of care into your photos. Even your nails are nicely manicured.

Re: Delica HAP40/SUS410 TiCN with red G10 Exclusive

I was surprised to see the rough liners (in Wright.88's excellent photos). I'm thinking it's because it's assembled after coating, so can't be finished with the knife.
