Really, really odd combo of high end handle and bottom of the barrel steel. I have no beef with 8CrMoV13 but it almost seems like Spyderco is afraid of the Tenacious competing with Golden models. Looks great, but it’s my personal opinion that releasing the knife with 8cr is a mistake. I think it would be much more enticing with s30v or s35vn. Well... to me the personally Stretch XL LW in K390 is "Sals folder" in the new Reveal...
But that´s just me, and you are of course 100% right that the Spy 27 Millie 2 features more of what Sal genuinely invented!
